Surgery in 2 days

I am so excited to be having my surgery (RNY).  I am starting to get very very nervous.  I so wish I had not read some of the post about the complications people have had.  I have 100% confidence in my surgeon!  2 days then a whole new book begins!!!!  

Good luck! I had mine on 1/14, so 2 weeks out. I had major panic right before, much of which I also owe to reading too many posts about possible (and typically rare) complications. It's an exciting time- take your time to heal. I've had many questions and this is a great place for support and answers!

Balance out your thoughts with all the health complications obesity causes . You are pretty much guaranteed one or more of them will come and get you over the years. Hows that for odds compared to the odds of complications from the surgery.

It will be a great book.

Best of luck. I'm sure everything will go as planned. My surgery is just over a week out. I got myself all worked up too. I read too much. I'm avoiding anything negative. And I have tons of support. Can't wait for my new beginning. You will do great!
