It is certainly contagious. Here at the state meet right now. Cute kids all over. Lots of crazy hats too.

Hey Pokemom when we got our black lab at 8 weeks old it was "what can I get my teeth on to chew" and I am not sure one, NOT ONE baseboard survived in our house, among many, many other things he chewed. We had to replace the really bad baseboards and fix the minor chewed ones. When he turned a year old we decided to get a second dog. We went back to the breeder, picked out a year old chocolate lab female and brought her home. Neither dog has touched a thing in our house, not a thing since that day the second dog came home. I honestly think its because they are the best of buds and have each other to play with. And since my WLS in Nov of 2013 I started hiking them daily as of January 2014 and they are tired, and I mean tired, some days I am dragging them home on the leashes. "A tired dog is a good dog."
Good luck, I know the level of frustration you speak of!! Fingers crossed for your 13 yr old and his casting! And good luck at the Lego championships, I LOVED lego as a kid, we had tons, it was the bomb!
Daze
p.s yoghurt with lemon & blueberries sounds yummy!

This is good advice and insight! Definitely the pup (named Fresca, BTW) has not had as much exercise in the cold and snow. And with my surgical procedure and the boys so focused on their projects, it really is likely she has not had enough energy outlets these past few days. Yesterday I let her outside to play in the yard on her own. She found a lot of mud and deer poop and was filthy! Required a bath. Fluffy white dogs: still want to be wild things and dig in the mud and eat/roll in deer poop.
My Lily can be destructive and clumsy too so that is part of my logic behind our daily walking. When she is tired she is a lot less busy getting into things! She is not a puppy but acts like one because she came from a puppy mill where she spent 5 years in a small cage. Now she loves to walk. It is good for both of us!
hi regarding the puppy, I know the petstore has something called bitter apple spray that you can spray on the base boards. if the put their moth on it, they hate it and stay away from it.
hope it helps! When our chihuahua was 1 year old a treat got caught between the cushions and she started digging.... she tore up 1/2 a cushion fabric!

That spray is good advice. Thanks! I will look for it. The damage is a challenge! My husband is not too patient abt it.

TGIF!!!!!! Love your Fantasy Island ref! Love Boat was always on first and then it was our bedtime but our babysitter let my sister and I stay up late and watch Fantasy Island and stuff our faces with chips and pop, oh the good old days! LOL LOL
I have VS bra's but I don't think they are the right fit, I "spill out" over the top and just does not look good. They are like brand new and I never wear them they are at the back of my drawer. I must go back and get properly fitted there! I just tired them on myself and thought "oh these look good" but they don't. Note to self, get a proper bra fitting!!!
Have a wicked awesome time at the GB!! Tell us all about it on Monday and post a pic for next Friday's Photo Friday!
