What's on Your (photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
My dear guests, I am AV, your host. Welcome to Photo Friday! Anyone get that? Like Fantasy Island? NO? crickets chirping LMAO I embrace my 70s childhood wholeheartedly.
So, last night I finally went to VS and got properly fitted. Lemme tell you, wearing the right bra (read: one that actually fits) is a revelation. I have a great rack now. LOL If you haven't yet done this, I highly recommend because I feel pretty damn good. I don't recommend spending the $200 I spent, though. Pretty underthings are expensive!
Globetrotters tonight, baby! Cue Sweet Georgia Brown! I'm super psyched. What's on your weekend agenda?

Happy Friday! I remember seeing the Globetrotters as a kid and LOVING it, I hope you both have a wonderful time!!
This weekend we don't have anything exciting planned. We're going on a cruise the first week of March so I need to get the summer stuff out and figure out who needs what. My parents friends are driving down to FL to spend the month down there before we all meet up for the cruise (there are 13 of us going) and have kindly offered to take our luggage, so we need to be packed by next weekend - eek! But not having to check baggage for the 4 of us will be fantastic!

I'm worth it!
being almost 11 months out, my weight loss has slowed down. But I don't want to buy too many warm weather clothes for March, because at home we won't need them for another few months! I'm thinking sun-dress type stuff is going to be the way to go, seems they work for a few sizes...

Haha loved me some Fantasy Island! When I was recovering from surgery I discovered an entire channel that seemed to only play Fantasy Island and Love Boat. Sadly, they did not hold up--both were really sexist and racist and totally ruined childhood love for these shows. Being an educated adult is no fun, sometimes!
Scale is still stuck. Grr.
B: Decaf with Skim & ground beef and onions (leftovers sounded good for breakfast for some reason!)
S: almonds & sharp cheddar
L: egg salad on Finn Crisp crackers
S: Mr Cheese Os
D: Parmesean Crusted Cod

Ok, there is some serious love of the Globetrotters here on the Menu post and it cracks me up!
Here is the fella and me post-shoveling. He was attempting an American Gothic pose, but I'm genetically predisposed to smile in pictures, so I couldn't do it. Please note how I look happy - this is because A) our shoveling wasn't bad, B) I made the fella be a good neighbor and dig out two extra cars, and C) I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE DYING FROM SHOVELING - thank you WLS and working out, it was practically easy!
Tonight I'm "hosting" a Jamberry Party (technically my sister is hosting, but it's at my house since I don't have children to wake up). Melissa, I feel like I'm cheating on you! This means I will surely indulge a little, so my menu is again light during the day to compensate. There will be a cheese plate though, so I'm going to try to stick to that. My strategy will be to make myself a plate of "appropriate" snacks and then sit as far from the food as possible in my tiny apartment.
