Skin Removal, Medicaid, Texas
Most insurance companies that do cover it require documentation from your doctor that it is medically necessary. I would think Medicaid would have the same criteria. This usually includes documentation for multiple visits to the doctor for rashes that will not go away, that creams were prescribed (and filled) that did not cure the problem, etc.
HERE is the Texas Medicaid website. If the information is not listed here, I'm sure it has numbers you can call. I am in Texas and do not personally know of anyone who has had Medicaid pay for skin removal. Most of us, even with traditional insurance like myself, have had to self-pay.
Good luck.

That is what I'm wanting to know has anyone been successful at having Medicaid pay for it. I hear they do cover it then I hear they don't cover it. I do know I will need documentation of rashes and stuff that's not the issue just didn't know if it's even possible to have it covered by my insurance thank you Laura I'll check out the website
