The end of May 2015 I had gastric bypass surgery, so far I've lost over 100 pounds. It has been an incredibly trying process but in the end I'm currently at a "healthy" or "normal" BMI, I feel so much more healthy and am more comfortable in my own skin. I'd totally do it over again if I had to, even though it has been one of the hardest things I've ever done, it has also been the best thing I have ever done for myself. If you have tried everything else and are thinking about getting the surgery go for it! It will change your life. Or if you are just 1 or 2 months out, it gets better just hang in there. I remember crying because I didn't feel well, had no energy, and on top of all that I wasn't losing like I though I should. It just takes time. :)
Hi there. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and have barely lost any weight. You said it gets better?
It totally get better. I did not notice a change in feeling better until about week 7 and that was when I no longer had any food restrictions. I didn't really feel like I had significant weight loss until my energy level went back up. I lost the most weight between months 3-5. You'll get there, I know much it sucks right now. I remember doing research in the beginning on having mine reversed, so happy I stuck it out!
Great job!

You look great. I love to see before and afters. I know that it helped me in when I started my weight loss journey. Seeing and reading was believing that WLS would work if we eat right and change our old habits.
Coming here for help and to give encouragement is a great thing.
