What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
I'm Karen a 56 year old who is a stay at home mom with two grown and moved on boys. I live in a small town in Illinois named Brighton. I am the pianist for my church and the director of the local food pantry. My oldest lives in Minneapolis and my youngest near Atlanta. Hubby is recently retired from Boeing and we have 2 cats and a spoiled boxer Lily who was rescued from a puppy mill. She is my ever faithful workout buddy! I had my surgery in August of 2012 at 272 pounds and today I weigh 121.6 pounds. I used to hate shopping but now I love it and have more clothes now than ever before. Now that I've been the same size for several years when I find new things I donate some old favorites so I have room in the closet. Before surgery I never had that problem! Exercise today will be three miles at the park with Lily about 10 and another 1.2 miles before bed. I will also spend 30 minutes pedaling as hard as I can on the bike. Here's the eats for today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 1 small smoked sausage and 1/2 c sauerkraut D 31/2 oz pork cutlet 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Happy Hump Day! I am Melissa, 33 year old Mother of 4 crazy children (or are they making ME crazy...I can't figure that one out). My husband is having a hard time right now because he is turning 50 in a few weeks!! There is obviously a big age difference between us, but it works out, because...you know....he acts like a 12 year old most of the time! I am an administrative assistant at a small company that sells and services air purification equipment. UBER EXCITING!!!! I love to knit and crochet when I have a few minutes, which isnt as often as I would like. I love crafting of any kind pretty much.
So I had my yearly physical with my PCP last night, she wasn't concerned about my crazy weight gain during my cycle. She thinks it is all stress from the situation I am in right now, and not being able to work out...because of the stressful situation mentioned. I can go back if things don't change once we close on our house and get settled. ugh Soooooo no answers LOL But other than that I am fit as a fiddle, I even GREW 1/4"!!

L: 1c Homemade low carb beef stew (hopefully my *****y pouch will allow me to eat this)

S: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt w/ 15g slivered almonds, dill pickles w/ 1 Baybel light cheese, 1/2c low fat cottage cheese w/ 2tbsp salsa mixed in

I'm Ashley, 32, I live in Maryland. Currently I am a nanny and stay at home mom to two girls. Almost 9 mo since surgery. Joined a gym yesterday and met with a personal trainer. I am really excited. And it was nice not to worry about the weight limit on the machines!
