Need a 25-30 lb Easter Goal partner
RNY April of 12. Low weight about two years ago of 157 never reached surgeons goal of 154 . Hubby died from cancer 7/13. However recently remarried and dating process and newlywed I am back up to 175 feeling yucky and uncomfortable. Anyone want to play? I haven't used this site for a long time so may have trouble catching up ??
I lost my husband to cancer less than two years after my surgery. It is a heartbreaking memory. I am sorry for your loss and glad that you were able to find a new partner. Going through life alone is not easy.
I would advise setting a realistic goal. Easter is about eight weeks off, so you are shooting for almost four pounds a week and that is very reckless. If you count calories, get your protein and fiber, drink your water, keep carbs low and weigh daily you have a good chance of losing a pound a week and keeping it off.
Twenty five to thirty pounds will take about 25 to 30 weeks.
Losing the regain will take time and work but you will be glad that you did it.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I lost both of my parents to cancer in 8/2013 and 5/2015. My regain started around Dec 2013 and I am working to get the weight off currently. I have a goal set and hope to reach it, but my word it seems that it is so much harder, the older we are. Add me to your friends list, I would love to have a buddy to connect with who is going through the same.
