What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning! I was checking myself out in the mirror this morning (don't hate, you know you all do it, too) and I can't help but notice how crazy pale I am. I can rock the porcelain, but at this point I'm borderline translucent. This winter is taking a toll on me. LOL I don't think I want to do the tanning tanning thing, but maybe I should spray tan. Has anyone ever done that? It seems like it could be cool, but knowing me I'll end up all streaky or orange like an Oompa Loompa. LOL
Oh! And as of this morning I am 1.4 lbs from my arbitrary goal weight. I couldn't have come this far without you guys, for real. Nothing but love.
Time since surgery: 18+ months
B: L&F Greek salted caramel mousse yogurt
S: 1 oz. deer jerky, 3/4 oz. salted peanuts and 6 M&Ms. LOL I counted those suckers.
L: Buffalo chicken salad, pork rinds and a cheese stick
D: pan seared flounder with steamed peas and corn.
TOTALS: Cals: 880 Protein: 98 Carbs: 43 Fat: 35
Also? Say a little something for me that I am able to steer clear of the food table today. January birthday celebration is underway and there's lots of yummy (read: carbs) stuff up there!
Morning! Can't feel ya on the pale thing... Catch me in the summer when I start feeling like charcoal:-) I'll say I've never seen good results with folks that I've seen do spray tans. Woohoo for being so close to goal!!!
My tummy is still feeling a little icky, I've been taking gas x, it's helping. So my menu is a little light.

Good morning! I remained in a bad mood yesterday, and there may have been a brownie involved, so you counting out your 6 m&ms makes me smile!
I am also completely translucent. I just can't seem to get enough iron into my body. Why doesn't patch md make an iron one? I'd be all over it... I swear I look like someone punched me in the face--the rings under my eyes are so pronounced without color in my face.
On to better choices today (starting with a 2 mile run this morning!).

Good point about the iron! I am consistently low, so I'm betting that has a lot to do with it.

They are hard to find. They are stocked at my local Target but I've never seen the at any other Target stores near me, so I have to remember to stock up and buy a million when I'm at that particular one!

AV, that's freaking awesome that you're so close to goal - go you!
Survived Snowzilla here in SE PA, but with a little help from mother nature. I got "snowed in" with the fella and we were insanely lucky - the way the snow drifted, his townhouse and parking area really escaped without much issue. I mean, it's a condo/townhouse situation so someone comes and shovels, etc - but even the cars weren't bad. It was sooo weird - right outside his door there was seriously just a dusting of snow and then 10 feet in front - 2 feet.
Snowzilla turned me into a FOODzilla - holy crap - poor choices abounded. Back in the game.
