Pre surgery NSV????

I am seeing a surgeon next week for an initial consultation. I'm also having knee problems and was told in November that I needed knee replacement at the age of 47. I went back to the orthopedic doc and told him I'm planning on having bariatric surgery and he said that opened me up to much less invasive knee surgery that will have me back to work in a week. 

WLS = no knee replacement  yay!!!

Well, no TKR YET.  I was able to put off the surgeries until 2015, which was nice, but too much damage had occurred so I had to have them replaced.

It's a good thing to be able to get the extra weight off the joints.    

That is good news, for sure.  I hope you do well with the surgery that you do schedule, and good luck as you prepare for WLS.
