I feel like a failure.
Hi - you are doing the right thing by reaching out. AngryViking is a doll and I write my food plan down daily. Everyone is right, meat and veggies - drop the carbs and fat, exercise even 5 minutes, and drink your fluid. We had stomach surgery which is a tool. I do overeaters anonymous online - hate f2f meetings. It inspires me. WLS would be perfect if it had a shot to the brain to make the desire disappear and a shot to the nose to stop the smells so we aren't enticed. It is practice and we are here for you.
Thank you to everyone who has given me advice, feedback and encouragement. I'm going to get back on track... I'm determined to. Steps so far:
- Bought a new brand of protein drinks to help me reach my daily goal. It'll be good for me to drink on my way to work.
- Logged back into MyFitnessPal. I had been logging on my Fitbit app but it didn't show my protein levels. Just calories.
- Back at the gym today now that the roads are clear again.
- I have an appointment on Friday with a new doctor. The first thing out of my mouth will be test all my levels. Hopefully I can get iron infusions because the pills aren't working.
Feeling much less hopeless today thanks to you all!
If your Dr suggests infusions ask him/her about injectafer... super quick 2-30 minute bags a week apart http://www.injectafer.com/ good stuff.
Glad you are feeling brighter today :) keep posting!
