What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Monday morning all! How did everyone fare this weekend? After feeling a little off for like a week, I managed to come down with a full blown cold, so I spent quite a bit of time on the couch yesterday. Seriously, I haven't been sick in years and now twice in the same month, I was out of commission. LOL Hey, did you know you can get tissues with lotion AND Vicks? They're amazing.
Question of the Day! Is there any food that you were able to eat early out that you can no longer tolerate? I ask because I fear I can no longer eat my beloved eggs. The last three times I've had eggs (hard boiled and over easy) I've found myself in the bathroom shortly after with some gastric distress and nausea. Boo. I'm going to be pissed if this continues. I love eggs.

Good Morning!
Can't I'm back at my desk, but I did have a good weekend. Friday night my husband and I went to Yin Yoga together, it felt great. Saturday we took the kids to Lego Meetup at the mall and tried a great little breakfast place. Reminded me of the most wonder place, The Omlette Shoppe, we visit when we go to Traverse City. Makes me miss summer, I can't wait to get back up North!
I loved Premier Protein prior to surgery and didn't mind it at first after surgery. Now, I can even look at it without wanting to dump guts. I had to look away at the giant display at Costco...

Water ALL Day.... I really struggle in this area.
--I did not enter totals because l am not sure what's for dinner.
Re: Question of the day- nothing really. Every now and then I can't a stomach protein shake......
Heave a Good One Everybody!
I struggle with my water intake, too. It seems like such a chore sometimes, even with my water bottle right in front of me.
Morning! I'm off to a late start today...kids are off so hubby and I decided to commute together rather than move both cars. Moving his was enough of a feat, and we both have 4wd. I managed to get over 12k steps yesterday, despite over 20" of snow on the ground!
Last night I got so sick. We went to chili's for dinner and I made good choices (steak, brocxoli-- but I did take a few of the kids cheese fries), but within an hour of getting home i felt sick to my stomach/ bloated. This was the closest I've come to throwing up in ages. Not sure if it was because the steak was too rare (medium) or the fries. I think it lasted far longer than was sensible than to just be the few fries I ate. And I didn't even finish the steak (ate 1/2 of 6oz.) Im tossing my leftovers.I'm taking eating easy today.
The food I started off being able to eat was bacon, now can't eat it, too fatty.
Times since surgery- ~9 months
M1- chocolate truffle protein shake
M2- 34g cashews cheese stick
M3- 6oz chili
M4- probably another protein shake
