Quest Protein Chips?

Has anyone tried them?  Saw them at my local store,  so picked up a bag of bbq and a bag of cheddar and sour cream.

Nope, can't do it.  I was hopeful,  but there is a very unpleasant aftertaste.

Anyone else had experience that was different?

I also had a weird aftertaste with them.  I didn't buy them a second time.

I tried the salt and vinegar and had no aftertaste problem.  But I realize these are not really potato chips and just a substitute that works for me with the calorie, carb and protein statistics.  During my weight loss stage I kept Kays Natural chips on hand to accompany a salad or soup at lunchtime.

They are also "weird" tasting compared to Doritos, but they gave me a crunchy, salty snack that did not interfere with my weight loss.  The Quest chips are the same thing.  For me, keeping my weight in control by eating "weird diet foods" has been a worthwhile alternative.

That's what I'm looking for an alternative.  I got excited for a minute, and just looked up the Kays Naturals, but I have a soy allergy and I can't eat those.

I guess I'll have to stick to my pork rinds for now.  I didn't see Salt and Vinegar at the store, so I'm not going to go out of my way to order them since I didn't care for the others.

I tried Moon cheese once before and didn't like it, but tried it again and it tasted a lot better. I must have gotten a wonky batch. Have you tried it? I bought mine at Starbucks. It's nice and crunchy...and it's all cheese.

The Quest chips were just gross, IMO. I threw away the rest of the small bag I'd bought to try.

If you are looking for salty/crispy, but still protein forward, I microwave a little bit of pepperoni, and they crisp up nicely. I'll add a little Muenster or mozzarella sometimes and nuke it again so the cheese it melty.

Oooh, the pepperoni is an excellent idea.  and I haven't tried moon cheese. I don't go to Starbucks often because I don't drink lattes and fancy drinks, and their regular coffee is swill.  I'll look on Amazon for the moon cheese, but if I can't find it I'll break down and go to Starbucks to get some.

Thanks!

I LOVE the moon cheese and it comes in 3 flavors.  I got mine off of Amazon,...a little pricy but a little satisfies me for a very long time!
