Spicy Black Bean burgers

I see this mentioned on the daily what you are eating thread. Anyone have a tried an true recipe they can share?

You can buy Sol Cuisine Spicy Black Bean Burgers in Canada.  They are usually sold in the health/natural food section of the grocery store in the freezer.    They are very good.  Sol Cuisine has other flavours of veggie burgers as well.  I buy them in a Loblaws brand store.

I just looked it up, don't think Morningstar Farms is available in Canada. Here is a recipe I pinned to try and make my own Black Bean Burgers. haven't tried it yet. Uses beans and TVP-Texured Vegetable Protein. TVP is not brand specific so you should be able to find it. From a blog called Bariatric Foodie. Scroll down for the recipe.

If you dont want to use the 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, you can use morning star farms crumblers (fake meat, high protein) but I recommend using whole wheat crackers crumbled up for the bread crumbs.  Enjoy!~
