What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Let's see... I like skinnytaste and budget bytes. Mostly I just google whatever ingredients I want to use and poke around for the best recipes. LOL I'm hoping Melissasue chimes in; she's always got the best ideas!
Two that I love love love, even 2 years out, and both run by members here!
Shelly's site http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com
Cleopatra Nik's site http://www.bariatricfoodie.com
Check them both out. Both are completely geared towards post-op WLS people!
Good morning! I hope everyone stays safe and warm. I sometimes feel guilty for complaining about the cold since it was 45 here this morning and that's a heat wave compared to what the rest of you are dealing with. But 45 here is COLD
I'm on a 4 day exercise streak so I'm planning on kick boxing tonight if all goes well at work
Here's the plan:
B: ground turkey (3.8oz) and cheese (1 oz)
L: Hamburger patty with grilled onions and a slice of cheese
D: Chicken Thigh and snap peas
S: Light and Fit and PB2; maybe a skinny vanilla latte (I want to start incorporating a mid day walk and there's a Starbucks within walking distance)
Totals (without latte) Cal. 858 Protein: 86g; Fat: 46 g (cheese); Carbs: 22g
Hi all. I am late as usual. Back-to-back meetings most of the day, but I wanted to post, even if I am the only one that reads it. No snow here in the Northwest. It is all rain, all of the time. I am not good with cold, and it is even worse after RNY, so I will take our mid 40's weather over the snow and ice all of you are dealing with. But I will complain about it. Yes, I will.
Time since surgery: 14 months
B: Egg Beaters omelette with mozzarella and bacon
S: Light and Fit Greek Yogurt with PB2
L: Vietnamese meatballs with Hoisin
S: Salami and light string cheese
D: Baked chicken thigh
S: Popcorn (maybe)
V/W: Going down, but need to step up the water
E: Zumba
Totals: Calories 840, Carbs 56, Fat 40, Protein 77, Sugar 16
Have a great day, and stay warm!
