Good Morning!  It's still snowing.  Well at my house, at least.  Here in the city it's windy and clear.  Lake effect snow is so weird.  LOL

Time since surgery:  18 months

B:  coffee, L&F Greek blackberry and 15 gms of sugar cookie crunch cereal.  HA!  I bought this for my husband and son around Christmas because they love sweet cereals, but they're not eating it!  I figure I can handle the 63 calories.  Plus, it's really good.

S:  celery sticks with a Laughing Cow wedge and a HB egg

L:  Buffalo chicken salad, pork rinds and a cheese stick

D:  1/2 serving of venison chili topped with TB of whipped cream cheese and an over easy egg.  I had this last night on a whim and it was sooooo good.

TOTALS:  Cals:  881  Protein:  89  Carbs:  42  Fat:  40

Have a great day, all!  Stay warm.

We probably have a little over a foot right now, with more to come today.  I can't really complain, though, because December was so mild.  It was nice while it lasted!

Good Morning!

We luckily haven't gotten that much snow here in south east Michigan, which totally bums the kids out. The roads were terrible last night though, very slick. Luckily I only have a 2.5 mile commute!

S1: Dannon Light & Fit Greek
L: Bumble Bee Chicken Salad kit, LC cheese wedge
D: Trader Joes Chicken Spinach sausage, cottage cheese
S2: Beef Stick, cheese stick

You are so lucky you live close.  I have a 18 mile commute each way.  I go east from the Ann Arbor area toward the airport, so traffic isn't horrible.  When I have therapy in the morning I have to drive west toward Ann Arbor and it is HORRIBLE traffic.

I feel your pain, for 3.5 years I worked downriver and commuted 28 miles one way. It is not fun at all! I never realized how much time I was in my car and what a toll it took on me, my wallet, and car! I've gotten pretty spoiled, I'm not sure I could go back to a long commute...

Good God, it's cold out! "Real Feel" is -1. Brr. Good thing cold weather burns calories ;)

My menu is so freakin sad. Back from vaca with no food in the fridge means lots of crappy snacks and nothing that resembles a real meal. And although I haven't had a chance to do the totals, I can see that I'm woefully behind on protein and calories. Yikes.

B: Fit Frappe Espresso Protein Coffee

S: almonds

L: cheese cubes

S: cinnamon Somersaults

D: corn chowder

Exercise:

Running late this morning, so I popped onto the elliptical for only 8 minutes but I upped the resistance to max!

Not much snow here but it has been COLD COLD COLD.  Yesterday my hubbie and I were supposed to have a date day for MLK (us off, kids in school) but school got cancelled because windchills were -35 in the am and then -15 all day (BOO).  This is when I really hate living in Wisconsin.  I am getting FLUFFY!  My eating has been crap and I wasn't exercising all last week due to my hernia scare.  Oh, and NO HERNIA.  I don't know whether to be happy or not.  What the hell happened if it wasn't a hernia?

Time since surgery: 18+ months

B: Coffee with cream, coffee with Fit Frappe and ham

L: Salad, noodle bowl, cherry crisp (It's Restaurant Week here and I'm having lunch with a friend.  I will eat a few bites of each)

S: Brat (leftover)

D: Ham and cheese omelet

E: Trainer ride

W/V: Started

Totals: Unknown due to lunch

I'm trying to go without my morning snack because I feel like once I start eating I can't stop.  When I wasn't allowed to eat before my CT scan I was just fine so I'm going to give this a good college try ;)
