Good Morning from snowy Syracuse!  My car is a beast in the snow, plus I have awesome snow tires, so I had no problems getting into work, but I can't say the same for everyone else on the road.  LOL  My office is at the top of a hill and there were like a half dozen cars struggling to make it up and not having much success.  I bet the afternoon commute will be no better because the DPW isn't exactly the best at keeping the city streets clear.

BUT!  I survived my museum sleepover with only a stiff neck to show for it.  It was actually a pretty cool program this time and all the boys earned their engineering badges, so that was good.  I will confess, though, that by the end of the night I pretty much hated every single boy in the building.  Not mine, of course, but the rest of them.  LMAO  They borderline insane and I was d-o-n-e.

Time since surgery:  18 months

B:  coffee, L&F Greek blueberry and a little box of Lucky Charms.  Don't judge me.

S:  celery sticks with a wedge of Laughing Cow and a cheese stick

L:  Buffalo chicken salad and pork rinds

D:  venison chili

TOTALS:  Cals:  826  Protein:  92  Carbs:  59  Fat:  27

Have a great day all!  And obxhatteraslight, report in as to your road conditions!  LOL

Ahaha! I'm glad to hear you survived your museum sleepover. I can't even imagine!

It is FRIGID here in PA this morning and my gym-visit was thwarted. Without much thought I got out of bed at 6am (having slept in my gym attire), threw on my light-weight down jacket and headed out the door. Well wasn't I surprised when my windshield was coated with ice and I didn't have gloves or a hat on...so back inside I went because, let's be honest, 6am in the pitch black deicing your car is just hellish. But I'm calling this an NSV because I didn't go back inside and get into bed, I went back inside and did an at-home work out! I didn't get as many steps in as I would have at the gym, but it was still a decent workout. I did 5 minutes of Sworkit stretching, a cardio and strength circuit 4 times through (10 push ups, 20 split squats, 30 glute bridges, 40 second plank, 50 jumping jacks, 60 second rest), and 5 minutes of sun salutations.

It's one of those little things that helps me get out the door when I plan for a morning work out. I still have to struggle into the sports bra, but it's a lot harder to wimp out when I'm already in (most of) the clothes.

Good Morning!

Glad you you survived your sleepover! We went to see "Norm of the North" yesterday, it was just ok. Kept my sons attention, but it's not one I would buy. Lots of fart humor which is always popular with the boys (at all ages from what I understand ;) )

I finally came to the conclusion I can't drink a protein shake as my breakfast. It doesn't keep me full long enough anymore, which causes me to start my snacks and lunch early. But the time I get home it causes me to either 1. eat unplanned snacks before dinner or 2. Eat super fast, which never works out well. I guess they will be a once in a while "treat" or when I have to travel to meetings. Hopefully it helps!

I'm glad you had a nice ride into work and that you survived the dreaded sleepover!  My ride into work was greasy, but not horrible if you didn't drive like a moron!

My weekend was ok, finally went and got the pedicure that I had a gift certificate from my birthday in September.  There may have been a chocolate covered cookie dough bite from the candy place next to the nail place after...ugh.  Whatever, it was tracked and didnt put me too much over for yesterday, oh well.  Normal stuff like laundry, etc etc etc happened as well.

9 1/2 months since surgery

B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop Syntrax milk chocolate

L: 3/4c homemade turkey chili with beans (Hubby did NOT enjoy the beanless chili I made last time)

D: Homeade baby back ribs with homemade low sugar BBQ sauce

S: Dannon L&F Greek yogurt, pickles with Baybel light cheese (2)

Totals: Cals: 631  Protein: 83  Carbs: 36  Fat: 11

I think there may be another snack at some point if needed, no idea what yet though.

What brand of low sugar BBQ sauce do you use?  I've been meaning to find one for pulled pork and such...

I make it myself.  Here is my "recipe", I don't normally measure though...lol

1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce 1 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar 1 1/2 tbsp ketchup 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard 1 1/2 tbsp honey (you could use any sweetener here I would think, stevia etc)
a few shakes red pepper flakes 1 tsp Chinese 5-spice
