Fitbit Question
I upgraded to fitbit HR. Love it.
edited to add:
my Fitbit HR fell appart app 1 year from when I bought it - I called the company and they are sending me a new one. I also agree that the battery is not lasting long time. But I use mine all the time and charge it when I take a shower and I am getting ready. app 1 hour a day... that is enough to make sure it works...

I, too, have the FitBit One because I didn't want something on my wrist. I put it in my pocket if I have one, or attach it to my underwear! I don't bother with the sleep feature and I love it!

I've had a Fitbit One for a long time now. The clip-on trackers tend to measure steps more accurately than those worn on your wrist but they're also a lot easier to forget, lose, or throw in the washing machine. I've been lucky mine has stuck around so long.
For me, it comes down to whether you want to wear something on your wrist (I don't) versus can you keep track of something you clip on your pocket, bra, or whatever. If you want heart rate monitoring too (which is nice) I'd suggest the Fit*****arge HR.
I have a MisFit. They are more stylish.

Here is my answer I gave to someone else recently:
I love my fitbit because most of my friends have fitbits. You can add friends and you are all listed in order by weekly steps. You can also challenge each other. I am very competitive so this helps me stay on track. Also it keeps me accountable because I know others can see how many steps I have.
My daughter and I started with the Fitbit Zip because it's the cheapest. I did not want to spend a lot of money on something I was not sure I would use. The Zip has a digital display so you can see your steps without having to go to your phone to check the app. It hooks on to your clothing. I got a new one on ebay for about $40 (I think it is $59 on the fitbit site and in stores).
The next one in price is the flex. It is around 99. You wear it on your wrist, but it does not display your steps. You have to go to the app to see how far you have walked.
My daughter and I just upgraded to the Charge. They run $129 in stores. I got them on Black Friday for $79. You wear it on your wrist and it displays the time, your steps, stairs climbed, calories burned, and distance traveled. It also tracks your sleep. The Charge HR is more expensive (150) and also measure your heart rate. I did not think that was important to me so I did not spend the extra money.
The One also clips on your clothing. It also has a digital display and does the same things as the Charge. They run around $99.
The Surge is the most expensive at $250. It does more but not enough for me to spend that kind of money.
Good luck in your search!!

I will also add that I kept my Zip. It runs on a battery so it does not have to be charged. When I forget to charge my Charge or do not want to wear something on my wrist, I can clip it on to my pants or bra. The Fitbit app lets you store more than one to your account and it automatically syncs whichever one you are wearing.

I literally just got a Fit*****arge HR through a program at work (so it was free to me). It larger than I would like, and only comes in two colors, but I liked that it displays your steps whereas the Flex, which comes in many more colors and is not nearly as wide, does not. I personally think that, from a motivational standpoint, being able to SEE how many steps I have in so far would be a huge advantage. If I have to log into something to see it, I'm probably not going to do it.
I'm not sure how consistently I will use it, but I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to get it at no cost.
