How often do you weigh yourself?
How is the scale so far?

I am already addicted to it. The first big thing that I gained was my bone mass weight. It is only 6.2 pounds and should be about 12 for a woman. I wish the scale had been available years ago and wonder what my bones weighed before surgery. At my age there is not much chance of building them up (I think). But I am going to see what happens. I am increasing my calcium and weight bearing workouts.
At least I can check daily now.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I weigh pretty much every day. Seeing a change of 2 to 3 pounds every day is pretty typical. As long as it goes up AND down, I don't care.
But, I only record my official weight once a week.

I weigh myself daily, always have and assume I always will. I know it can be a little obsessive thing I do, so I work hard on not emotionally tying myself to the number I see on the scale every day. I know as a female and bypass patient that I'm going to have normal cyclical and daily fluctuations and that's ok.
I thought my surgery wasn't working for me in the beginning, and low and behold, slowly I'm getting there. So excited to see on my ticker that I'm down 39 lbs.
I understand the general 'wisdom' to be weighing weekly during weight loss and daily during maintenance.
However I've been a daily weigher since I had surgery and it's been very beneficial. During the weight loss phase, daily weighing was a good habit to put in place and it got me used to seeing normal fluctuations. During maintenance, it keeps my head out of the sand and allows me to stay on top of any upward trend.
