Yeah, as soon as I typed it out I was all "that's not going to happen".  LMAO  I did eat my yogurt, though and so far, so good!

I love cooking with Fairlife, I've never had a problem. I find the Whole grain Cream of Wheat at Walmart. It is the only place I can find it. I only started having something like that a couple of months ago. I stir in a little protein powder(Genepro) and Benefiber as well. I make it a little watery to start so it doesn't get too thick when I stir the extra stuff in.

I find it easier to digest than oatmeal. Love oatmeal just doesn't agree with me, cooked anyway, since surgery.

Since I make the cream of wheat for me and my son- I know he'd revolt if I tried to introduced a different type. I only eat it occasionally (once a month, if that) so I don't worry about it.

As I was making it I was thinking about how I used to make/eat hot cereal pre-op. I made with Milk & evaporated milk (for richer flavor). Added sweetened condensed milk and sugar (lots of both). Then, to eat it I would break up pieces of bread and stir them into my bowl... I was happy when I was able to get THREE pieces of bread it the bowl.  And I was making the recipe for 4 servings, eating at least two of them.

I should have called it cream of carbs :-)
