Glad to see you back AV! You were missed! I am tired of winter and having to bundle up like an Eskimo to take the dog outside. And tired of freezing no matter how many layers of clothes I have on. Thank heavens for coffee! Post op 40.5 months and weight at 122 today. On track with vitamins and fluids so far. Plan to do at least 2 miles at the park with Lily this afternoon and do two more on the treadmill. That treadmill is just so BORING even with the TV on. I will also do 30 minutes on the bike at some point before bed. Here's the food B1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L31/2 oz grilled tuna and 1/2 c mushroom soup D 31/2 oz steak and 1/2 c green beans S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices!

I wanted to tell you that I tried steel cut oats last week because I always see them on your menu.  They are delicious!  So much better than regular rolled oats.  I don't think I can make them a daily thing, but I'm def. adding them to the breakfast rotation.

My nut recommended adding them to yogurt overnight, then eating them for breakfast. Haven't tried it yet, but it's on the list!

Overnight oats are awesome!  I mix 1/4 cup oats, half a container of greek yogurt, 1/3 fairlife milk and a tbs of Peanut Butter (if I have any in the house, I add in extra protein powder).  They're a higher carb breakfast for me, but my go to on days where I run!

YAY AV!!  So good to see you are ok (well, better sick than dead).  I hope you feel 100% soon.

I have a morning meeting so I have to make this quick.  I have a CT scan this morning at 11:30am to see if I have a hernia.  I'm hoping they find one so I can get this fixed and move on but my guess is that they will find zilch.  Nothing is ever easy and I'm guessing this is no exception.  I can't eat at all this morning (well, I was allowed a light breakfast which I dropped half of on the garage floor ) so I will be starving after the procedure.

Wish me well, HANGER is coming and it won't be pretty!

Time since surgery: 18+ months

B: Half a egg, cheese and low carb tortilla rollup.  The I had a fruit rollup cause I was pissed!

Good luck. If you are in pain and this doctor does not believe you. Find another one. I had one for over a year and was in pain and my doctor  made me think it was in my head.

I went to a new surgeon and he pressed on my belly button and said yup you have a hernia. I was so relieved.

I hope you feel better.

I honestly think my surgeon believes me but couldn't find anything when pushing on my tummy.  I'm scared that since I rubbed it back in they won't find it until it pops back out :(
