Hey all!  Know what's super NOT fun?  Being sick and having a sick kid.  LOL  Both my son and I are pretty healthy; I can't even remember the last time either one of us was sick enough to stay home.  We didn't know what to do with ourselves except snuggle up on the couch and watch Cartoon Network.  Has anyone seen Gumball? That show is damn funny.

So, a couple of days of fever and nausea has resulted in a 1 lb loss.  Huzzah!  LMAO  I know it's not real, but it was nice to see.  Also, my menu is pretty ambitious after the last couple of days.  I just kept throwing things into my lunch bag last night; I was in a fugue like state after a 4 hour nap so...

Time since surgery:  18 months

B:  coffee, L&F Greek strawberry and 8 chocolate animal crackers.  See?  haha

S:  turkey pepperoni/LC sandwiches and a HB egg

L:  Deli ham/cream cheese /pickle rollups and some pork rinds

D:  venison chili topped with shredded cheddar

TOTALS:  Cals:  895  Protein:  80  Carbs:  47  Fat:  43

Yeeahhh...I don't think this menu is going to happen.  I'm still feeling a little queasy and frankly, nothing here sounds even remotely appealing.  Except for the coffee.  I'm always up for coffee!

Have a great day!!

I can't wait for my husband to get back and eat all these leftovers for me. My meals take like an entire week to finish. While this makes my life easier not having to cook as much, I do get tired of eating the same thing day after day. lol

That's why I'm obsessed with freezing! I can eat the same breakfast and lunch over and over, but for some reason can't do that with dinner. I freezer EVERYTHING.

Oh yuck, I was sick over the weekend and it's just the worst! Hope you make it through today!

I'm realizing with each passing day that I'm probably eating closer to a maintenance diet than weight loss now. The only time I've really dropped significantly, recently was after my own bout with a stomach flu. So today I'm changing it up! Hope it works!

...almost 6 months post op...

B: protein coffee & 1 egg

S: dried cured salami, cheese cubes & cucumbers

L: Greek yogurt

D: turkey and green peas

I don't want to sound stupid but what is protein coffee?

Not stupid! It was my short-hand for writing out that I mixed Fit Frappe Espresso Powder with a decaf coffee. It adds about 10g of protein to my daily morning cuppa!

You can add any protein to coffee, but that's my favorite. But a warning...if you add protein powder to hot coffee, just be sure to mix it with room temp water first until it's the consistency of pudding, then add the ho****er. Otherwise it's lumpy and gross!

Oh that sounds really good! I love hearing about all this stuff. You guys have the best ways to get that protein!!!
