What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Well, I'm assuming Kristen is having a weather related emergency. I'm getting a bit worried and will say a prayer that she and her family are all safe and healthy.
I'm so proud of myself this morning. I made a good decision. I was going to have some hummus and Stacy's pita chips as a snack, and once I put it into MFP, I realized that it's so not worth it. So I didn't even bring them with me to work.
Question of the day, what article of clothing makes you feel great? I'm wearing some jeans today that make me feel thin and sassy. I've paired that with a black tshirt and a cute crocheted cardigan that I got from The Rack for one penny. I'm also wearing my ballet flats, which I love love love, but my feet are always cold when I wear them. The high today is only going to be around 20 degrees. My boss gave me an electric throw blanket to put under my desk, since she was only going to donate it to charity. I'll be the charity if it means that my feet are warm and toasty.

Good Morning!
Thanks for posting the thread again today, I always look forward to posting/reading what everyone has to say.
I around Thanksgiving I bought a pair of skinny jeans and tall black boots that make me feel great. I always loved the look, but was never confident enough to wear it. And I was super excited when I could go into Target and pick any pair I wanted - didn't have to get wides or wide calf!

I'm worth it!
Hey all,
Doing ok today so far. Pretty sure my dizziness was caused by lack of liquids so the past 2 days have been awesome and I've been pouring in the water.
As far as clothes go- I'm now out of everything I used to wear- even the "If I could just lose xxx pounds I can wear these jeans". All are majorly too big. I bought about 4 pair of jeans and they are slightly tight- just not feeling like wearing them yet. Don't want to feel uncomfortable when I'm still trying to heal up my incisions. Been wearing the low rise kind of baggy ones instead.
For some reason my scale stays put with the same weight for 2 days, then drops a 1/2 pound. I've noticed this the past week. Its very strange.
B: 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup water, GNC wheybolic vanilla
S:?
L: Shrimp and hummus
D: good question- I wanted to make that spaghetti squash with chicken breast and pasta sauce and cheese
S: yogurt?
when I started outgrowing my clothes right after surgery, I bought a few pairs of leggings. They still fit me even though I've lost at least 50 pounds since I bought them. I wear them with long tunic style shirts, and expect that they will be a staple in my wardrobe until I hit goal weight. I have 3 pairs of jeans that I spent less than $50 for all three pairs they are tight enough that they should last me through the winter.
Edit to clarify, I didn't out grow my clothes, they kinda outgrew me...
Thanks for starting the thread again, I hope Kristen and the fam are okay too. Your outfit sounds super cute, and .01-that's awesome! A well fitted bra makes me feel great-that and new undies.

Have a great one!
Its really bad here in Syracuse NY. 135 Schools/Places closed today. Snowing like a dickens out since late last night. Where are you AV love your posts.
I think the bleu cheese crumbles from last nights dinner did not sit well with me. Very nauseous and had pain in my left back area. Thankfully not bothering me this am!! I do not think that I overate(maybe)?
I also need to thank DH for bringing CASHEWS in the house(not) I had 6 last night but will stay away!! UGH... I know only 6 but I did not need them!!
I am also signing up for the YMCA next week.
I also need to start planing my menu the night before or sooner because I wake up wondering what the heck to eat for bkft etc....
Egg Puffs
Spicy Black Bean Burger Velveeta Cheese Egg(I probably should not have these in the house lol)
Turkey Sausage Crumbles Egg A little reduced fat cheddar
Greek Mousse Yogurt Salted Carmel
Hopefully Kristen will be able to let us know everything is ok with her and the family soon!!
Great job with your smart decision this morning!! Keep it up!
I don't know if I am sabotaging myself or what, but I get down to my lowest, then start snacking more or eating higher carbs and BAM I gain. It is just so hard, the head hunger...the possibility of somehow subconsciously ******g up my efforts. I hate being constantly disappointed in myself. ***** ***** moan moan, sorry all

I know how you feel. I'm so struggling still with eating off plan. I know what I'm eating before I put a thing in my mouth for the day, but then I end up snacking on top of it. The struggle is real.
I'm going to start plastering pics of me at my highest weight next to me at my current weight inside every cupboard that holds food and my fridge. Maybe that will keep me from it.
