What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
We may get a snow shower tonight-- of course the kids hope it will be blizzard worthy. Be safe driving!
It really depends where I go out what i order. IE on Sunday I went to IHOP with the kids, I got scrambled eggs/ cheese and a slice of their ham. I generally order steak most places (outback, applebee's, ruby Tuesday etc etc). Fish is my other go to when eating out-- I LOVE crab cakes. Chicken tends to get sauced or fried to some degree in most restaurants, so I generally don't order chicken when I go out.

Ok here in north Ga but it's cold. I need to will myself to walk outside. I am NOT used to exercising period much less in the super cold.
Does everyone walk/run outside or indoors on a treadmill? I had one before and it hurt my hips and back to use it so much I gave up.
I have only eaten out twice since surgery (one month out on jan 15). It was pintos and cheese from taco bell and a carry out of grilled white fish and green beans from captain d's. Which i took home and pureed.
For Food:
I'm pouring in the water- keep having dizziness in afternoon and I think it is fluid related. We will see...
B: 1 cup of lactaid milk and GNC wheybolic vanilla
S: carbmaster key lime yogurt
L: refried beans with light cheese
D: shrimp ***tail and green beans - pureed of course- lol everytime i see people eating this i giggle.
not sure about the rother snack but i will need it I think.
I don't have a treadmill but I do walk inside, my house is open-plan, every room opens into another, so I walk around in a circle or rather a square, kitchen, den, living room, dining room back to kitchen. Of course I do this because A. it is cold outside and B. I walk at 5:00 a.m. and it is pitch dark out. Once spring comes my walking will be done after work around the beautiful park we have in my town.
When I run during the week it's usually at night so I run on the treadmill that's in my garage. My longer runs are usually on the weekend and I either run at the park or if I'm especially motivated and get up early enough, at the beach. Our weekend runs are early and it's been cold (in the 30's, which I know isn't cold for a lot of you!) That first mile HURTS!!) I don't have any trouble with the treadmill causing hip or leg pain.
I'm pre-op, so I don't have any restaurant advice yet. Just trying to eat more protein, less carbs.
B-oatmeal
L-chicken with buffalo sauce and blue cheese
D-Italian turkey sausage, 4 raviolis, tomato sauce, Caesar salad
S- tuna packet
S-irish tea with sweet cream

Good Morning!
Hope everyone in the mid-west area is staying safe and warm with this wintery weather we are having. I have decided my next car must have automatic start :)
When eating out I usually get order a protein and vegetables as the side. Bunless burgers usually work for me. Or I find sometimes a salad works well if it has chicken, cheese, eggs, and that type of stuff. I am a big planner, and almost always have my menu in My Fitness Pal the night before. If I know I am going to eat out I scope out the menu online and put it into MFP first, and build the rest of the days menu around it.
