Happy Friday!

I'm happy to report that I'm wearing a brand new size S cardigan and size 8 pants that need a belt to stay up. Cray-cray!

Finding it's going to be a real struggle to lose these last few pounds. I probably need to switch it up a little but that will take some planning this weekend... Today the menu is "the usual"!

B: fit frappe espresso & tom tom turkey stick

S: babybell and almonds

L: Cottage cheese and carrot sticks

S: Mr Cheese Os

D: hamburger patty

No time for exercise today but hoping to do 6 miles on the treadmill, tomorrow.

Ohhhh my gosh, day 3 of training and I can't take it anymore. At least today is it, and it's Friday. For whatever reason I always feel accomplished when I make it to another Friday!

No big plans this weekend, which is really nice sometimes. The oldest is having a sleepover at his grandparents house, which is always exciting for him. And it's nice to get a little 1:1 with the kids.

Can I post a picture from my phone? I have a iPhone if it matters. Can't seem to figure it out.

10 months since surgery

B: Monster Muscle

S1: Cheese stick

L: hard boiled egg and a yogurt

Happy Friday everyone!

Weekend plans include a surprise 50th birthday party tonight. I am looking forward to it, the guy we are surprising is the janitor in our building and he is so sweet and kind,  like starts our cars for us in the winter time kind!!  We only have on street parking at our home and one of those icy freezing cold Ohio mornings last winter, I hear the ice being scraped off the cars on the street, I look out the window and there is the janitor from my office cleaning my car at 6 am!  Such a great guy!  I am happy to celebrate with him tonight.  Other plans include cleaning at my parents tomorrow (while they are out of town!!).  And my co-worker and I have scheduled a personal shopper appointment at Nordstroms! I am having a hard time finding clothing, I just can't wrap my head around the fact that I no longer need to shop plus sizes and I still gravitate to XL in misses sizes, though I am more like a medium. I am hoping that someone getting me started will break this mindset!   Sunday, I am taking my friend with Down's syndrome and my kids to the movies, so a full and busy weekend!

My only goal for the weekend is to get my Christmas decorations down.  They are driving me batty!  I also start a new session for swim lessons tomorrow morning so I am curious what the new group of kiddos will be like.  Tri training started in earnest this week and my body is fighting me.  I forgot that running on a treadmill kills my hip so last night I was in all sorts of pain.  Thank god for muscle relaxers.  Even though it is chilly and raining out I will still run outside at lunch.  I would rather be wet than hurt.

Time since surgery: 18+ months

What a spectacular picture!  She is such a mini-you!

Mmm... coffee.  Would it be horrible for me to add a second SF latte today?

You guys! I demand more photos on PHOTO FRIDAY! Here's mine - it's a bit....weird, but I'm finally back in the gym rotation and last night, even though I had horrendous Day 2 Post-Pump soreness, I pushed myself to do a light workout with 15 minutes on the bike, 30 minutes walking, and 5 minutes stretching. It didn't feel good physically, to be entirely honest, but mentally it felt FAN-freaking-TASTIC!

I'm being an awesome sister/aunt this weekend and having my 4 year old niece, the Goose, sleepover so that the 2 year old niece can be "sleep trained." She used to be an awesome sleeper, but all the sudden she wants to be awake for an hour+ every night and it's making her parents nutso. Taking a break from being auntie to be girlfriend and having lunch with the fella's family on Saturday also.

Time since surgery: 22 months

B: coffee with cream and a Quest Bar during a 7:30am continuing ed presentation (bla!)

S: Omega Trek Mix

L: hardboiled egg, string cheese, turkey stick

S: apple slices and Laughing Cow Light wedge, deli ham

D: chicken salad

S (with the Goose): popcorn and a Chobani tube

TOTALS: Calories 1060, Protein 87, Carbs 75, Fat 54

V/W: started

E: officially a rest day, but hoping to get my steps in...

Have a great weekend, all!

What a great Auntie! I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old as well.  And I know the hells of sleep training!

I have no one willing to take my kids overnight though.....you are awesome!
