Am I crossing over the line?
You are right I am trying to find some variety. I do want to expand what I am able to eat. I have greek yogurt and cottage cheese most days of the week for breakfast. I mix 1/4 cup of each I buy the fat free plain yogurt and 0% cottage cheese. I typically add a couple of blueberries or a strawberry to it for flavor. I do not use any other flavorings no sugar free syrups or anything. I just thought adding a little sugar free pudding into it for flavor would be a nice change. As far as the peanut butter balls I just thought if I was needing a little protein boost that it would be a good way to get the needed protein. I always have had issues with sweets. I do not want to set myself up.
I think only you can answer if it crosses the line. For some people, those foods wouldn't even tempt them to deviate while for others it would set off a downward spiral. My only thought I had was that I personally never eat sugar free anything except yogurt (although it still has sugar in it) because I have learned that sugar free foods make me hungry! It's so strange but if I eat or drink something made with sugar substitute it starts this grazing behavior in me. It's difficult because I love sweets and carbs but I just can't do sugar free so I have to stay away from it all.
