What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I'm at all-day training again today, boo! Sitting still and quiet for 8.5 hours is not easy for me.
I am going to a "fitness design" class tonight, which I'm hoping will be helpful in getting a good routine going at the gym. I've regained some of my gym motivation, but it could be much much better.
My menu is a little "meh" today:
B: Monster Muscle
S1: Cheese Stick
L: Protein Shake
S2: Hard boiled egg
D: Homemade chicken noodle soup
S3: TBD
Hope everyone has a great day!!

I am so looking forward to this weekend with absolutely no plans! No football game, no parties, no whatever. Maybe I can put away the rest of the Christmas decorations and put things back to right.

Good Morning AV and the RNY Gang. I'm glad you're feeling so awesome! I am having a great day today too! I ALMOST fit into a size 12 pants this morning. The only thing holding me back is this extra tummy skin thing. I know I still have a long way to go to hit goal, so I'm not really planning seriously for plastics yet, but I will promise you all this right now, I WILL have this tummy flap removed. It makes me look like I have weird hips because you can see the skin flap under my clothes. It's just not attractive at all. But, back to my almost NSV, I needed less than half an inch to get those pants buttoned. I could have squeezed them closed, but would not have been able to sit down, probably wouldn't have been able to breathe, lol. but it got me super excited!
Also, I have a big problem with evening snacking. I ate popcorn again last night, and I just have to stop. I logged it, and I still came in under 900 calories, but I keep eating off of plan. I believe my plan is realistic, and if I had planned for the popcorn, I would have been okay, but I didn't plan for it and I felt guilty after I finished eating it. Do I need to ban popcorn from my house? I would hate to do that because my family enjoys it. I must think on this.
So, last night we officially "unplugged" from cable. We've switched over to only internet based television, along with the local channels via a digital antenna. We have Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu Plus and Sling TV. The only thing that I don't get that I watch regularly is BBC America. Unfortunately, they do not offer any type of streaming service unless you subscribe to a cable company. It will make me very sad if I can'****ch Doctor Who when it comes back for the rest of the season. Though, honestly, I'm not digging on the new Doctor as much as I loved the last two. David Tennant is MY Doctor, and will always be my favorite.
So, food plan for the day. This one is very ambitious, and I'll have to add a snack in for this evening. I'm leaving it open and going to try like hell to stay away from the popcorn. I need ideas for protein forward snacks for the evening, any suggestions?

I'm all out of yogurt this week, so I'll either need to stop at the store tonight or try to find something else to eat. I got my husband on a boiled egg kick, so I could switch over to eating more eggs, but I think I'm starting to get into the food rut that I hear other people talking about. Need new ideas for stuff to prep on the weekend and eat during the week!
