We booked a trip to Atlanta next month...SANS CHILDREN!!!! We have 3 teenage daughters so I am so excited. Hubby has to work for a couple of the days(piggy backing off his free flight and buckhead suite) but I am all about laying in a hotel bed pantless watching tv. I am also mildly terrified about flying. Still cant wrap my brain around I will fit without "incident".

I am not weighing this week because I was getting so frustrated bouncing up and down the same 2 pounds. It was partially holidays but partially self sabotage. My surgeon told me not to expect to get under 220 because I just wont and in his experience that is about where people stop. I am NOT okay with stopping there because i am still obese...but I keep hearing it in the back of my head. Hence, no weighing, and hoping to break out of there this week.

Decaf coffee with sugar free hot cocoa and a scoop of collagen

Cheddar Cheese Stick, 1/2 Atkins beef fiesta bowl, tbsp of sour cream

Trader Joe Sweet Basial Chicken Sausage, celery and salsa

Cheddar sour cream Quest Chips

Bah, why would he say that **** You CAN get under 220, you WILL get under 220. Look at your plan, less than 800 calories a day and there is no way you won't lose. Stick with it and when you decide to weigh again, I bet you'll be surprised.

WOW that's weird that your doctor says you won't get under 220.  I don't know your height or beginning weight or current weight, but I am 5'4" and had RNY at 351 lbs, and reached my goal of 160 in just over a year.  It's possible.  Not easy, but possible.  Don't listen to your doctor and keep working your plan!

Ok- two days on antibiotics, third today, so I'm starting to feel slightly normal again. I haven't been walking as much because I've felt like crap and didn't want to get out in the cold to walk and get any worse.

I ordered a pair of size 18 regular jeans and they fit! Got them yesterday and tried them on. Been selling my plus 20-22 size clothes in order to buy new ones. Also went to GAP and actually bought an XL in jacket, workout clothes etc. Was so excited!

My next upcoming goal is getting to onderland. I'm 14 pounds away. I created a spreadsheet of each month and what my projected weight loss will be based on that chart on this site. I'm thinking it may be off since I've only lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks. So I might not make it under the 200 mark before the 27th of this month when I go back for my 6 week checkup. But maybe I'm in my 3 week stall so I will try to not worry too much about it. I lost a lot of weight (52 pounds prior) so I hear it may go slower for me.

Food for today:

B: GNC wheybolic chocolate, lactaid milk, SF pudding

L: Maybe an egg with ricotta?

Geez, AV, you're so fun right now :-) Feel better, lady! Although I have to admit to being a bit cranky pants today too. Started my day with a design meeting re: our reno project and one of the Board members on the committee is making me nuts. She is, perhaps, the least tactful person alive and while I often agree with her opinions she has the entitled "lady that lunches" attitude about it that makes me want to scream! The meeting also threw off my schedule, damnit!

The last thing that excited me was this super adorable fox cowl that I knitted for my 2 year old niece, the Pip. It is so stinkin' cute and when she wears it you can ask her "What does the fox say?" and she says "Hacha cha cha cha cha cha cha!" and it's amazing!

Time since surgery: 22 months

B: low cal/carb breakfast sammie, coffee with creamer

S: KIND bar

L: turkey sticks, string cheese, cottage cheese

S: Omega Trek Mix

D: crockpot chicken

S: popcorn and a Chobani tube

TOTALS: Calories 1160, Protein 95, Carbs 93, Fat 55

V/W: started, but slow on the liquid (stupid meeting)

E: officially a rest day but will do some stretching and get my steps in

I'm somewhat obsessed with the crockpot chicken - I got a whole chicken, cut the skin off, plopped it in the crockpot, sprinkled on some TJ's Everyday Seasoning, and cooked it on low for 9 hours. My house smell delicious and the chicken is awesomely moist and yummy. AND I'll make stock from the bones! Highly recommend.

There is an adult size on the pattern. I'll email it to you! I'm thinking of making one for myself too, tough I'll probably leave the ears off.

Good morning, well it's 11:59 so almost afternoon.

My menu is also unenspiring, I need to shake things up a bit.  I keep going back to the same old things.

The last time I was excited was when I hit size 14. Now of course those clothes are all too big for me and I need to go shopping, but Christmas happened so there's nothing in the budget until at least next week, maybe longer and I refuse to use credit cards except for emergencies.

I'm still not losing "weight", I'm not gaining, ( I do keep going up and down the same 1.5 lbs though) everything is looser and I'm getting lots of comments on how "thin" I am. Surprisingly that really gets on my nerves after a while.

Time since surgery 8+ months

B:  Tea and Quest Bar

L:  Turkey, Cheese, lettuce and small pita

D:  Pork tenderloin, sauteed mushrooms & onions & 1/2 sweet potato

Haven't done the totals yet.

No weight loss on the scale, but losing inches is a WIN WIN WIN in my book!!
