What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
My next "Holiday" at work is Memorial Day as well. UGH
I know your traveling for work probably isnt as glamorous as it sounds, with eating out and routines being messed up. But I am kind of green with envy! lol And your walk does sound magical!
Do it!
It's so funny when you live or work in a place most people don't take advantage of all the wonderful things on offer. When was at school in DC I only ever visited the museums, etc when I was forced to for class or someone came to town to visit. The same way with all the Philly sites...

What?! You see the Mall from work and never walk it?! I live up near Petworth and I will walk down to Dupont, pick up a friend of mine, and we walk down 17th St to Constitution and hang a right to go to the Lincoln Memorial...then we walk to the Washington Monument, and if it's not crazy cold, sometimes we walk to the Capitol and then back to Dupont. It's a great walk (you just need to dodge the tourists) and even though I have been here over 8 years, I still look around with wonder at our gorgeous capital :)
Another cold day here in Illinois. Lily and I will do our 3.2 miles at the park after lunch when it will hopefully be a tad bit warmer. We will also do another mile before bed and I will bike 30 minutes at some point. Weight today is 120.4. On track with vitamins and fluids so far. Here's the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein aND peanut butter added L 1 c venison chili D 31/2 Oz shrimp while hubby has shrimp pasta Alfredo and 1/2 c broccoli and cauliflower mix S Greek yogurt. Last thing I got excited about was going to Atlanta to see the youngest. Since hubby has retired we plan to travel more and this was a great first trip. And Lily did great traveling which was perfect because I don't want to board her. Have a great day everyone and make smart choices!
