What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Monster Muscle is a chocolate protein shake, made by Monster Energy. I'm not a coffee drinker, so this works as my morning "pick me up". They come in a few diffrent flavors, I think they're good.
I'm at work, so I don't have the recipe with me. But if you google Betty Crocker chicken broccoli pie it should come up. Basically shredded chicken, frozen broccoli, eggs, cheese, milk, and a little pancake mix cooked in a pie plate. Both the kids and husband love it, and nutrition is reasonable for me :) and it's quick/easy!

I'm worth it!
Morning AV and gang. It's cold here too, and we got a dusting of snow last night, but not enough to affect the roads. I will say that with the weight loss, I'm really feeling the cold like I have never felt it before. Maybe I'm just getting older, lol.
Anyway, I went to my first Overeaters Anonymous meeting last night. it was nice. Kinda structured, short and sweet type of thing. I'm not really shy, so I spoke, and joined in on the readings, etc. I plan on trying to hit one on Wednesday evening, and then maybe again on Saturday or Sunday.
My husband and I got into a big ole fight yesterday morning. I want to get it out there that my husband might actually be a saint for all of the **** that he's put up with over the years. but yesterday morning he kinda snapped and overreacted and really hurt my feelings. I was furious at him all day, and we had to wait until after the kids went to bed last night to talk about it, which was a good thing since it gave us time to calm down and think about things. He apologized and we both had our say. A bunch of stuff came out and I think we both got things off of our chests that we've been holding in for some time. I am going to see my therapist on Thursday, and I'm going to ask her about occasional couples therapy. I think it would be good for us to have an outside person with an unbaised view of things. Hoping she can give me a recommendation, since I like her a lot.
My food day was pretty successful yesterday, my plan for today is good and I'm feeling good about it.
As for my co-workers who annoy me... well my closest coworker is my BEC. I got that phrase a few years ago from the babycenter messages boards when I was pregnant with my youngest son. If you don't know what BEC is, let me explain. BEC stands for ***** Eating Chips. It means that the person can do something as mundane as eat a bag of chips, and you just want to punch them in the face for it. Everything they do is annoying, lol. I like my coworker, but sometimes when she clips her nails at her desk, or has an opinion about anything, it annoys the **** out of me. We've even socialized outside of work once or twice. She is really not a bad person, but when you spend 40+ hours a day sitting next to someone it can be taxing. LOL

I'm going to start back up on the yoga tonight. my younger brother got me a yoga mat for Christmas and it's still in the package.
Good morning. Kiss ups are my kryptonite at work! We have one lady who is the biggest brownnoser I have EVER seen. She makes pies for the boss because she knows she is too busy to do it herself. She also is the biggest tattletale ever! Anything that might get you into trouble and make her look like a model employee is bound to go straight to the boss. Ugh.. I really like her on a personal level but I am very guarded around her for obvious reasons. Also, she is one of the only people her that knew me pre-surgery and resents me big time. She has put on a lot of weight in the past 2 years (due to medical reasons and her general diet) and is always slipping in mean comments about me being skinny. Whatever!

What annoys me most about my co-workers? The guy is supposed to be my "assistant" is a SLOB. His work area is a pig-sty. With the rest of the group-- work ethic...or lack thereof. With my boss-- her existence annoys me >-) You see I have deeeeep rooted issues with this workplace :-) Still holding out hope for 2016!

Yup, canned. I think the brand I have at the moment is Mary's kitchen. It's a small can 7.5oz that I make myself use in two servings. (The actual serving size is one can) it has carbs, 15g for the whole can. But also 15g protein for the whole can.
Worth it occasionally!! Yum!

Good morning all,
I have one lovely co-worker, who is so nice that I can overlook her annoying pen dropping habit. Sorry for that, the rest of you are now going to hear every person who drops their pen each time they are done using it. The other co-worker, *****fuses to speak to me, bugs me to no end. Everything she does (which is absolutely no "real" work) annoys me, especially filing her nails at work!!

Exercise: Completely inspired by Mamata, I am going to do a triathlon this year! So I went swimming this morning, an embarrassingly slow 400 meters.
Good Morning! Yikes, your drive sounds scary Kristen-be safe out there! We are getting some rain today and tomorrow but it was nice enough to stop while I drove from the gym to work so I could walk into the office with all my bags without having to worry about an umbrella (it's the little things sometimes!)
Oh my, biggest annoyance at the moment is the loud single finger typers....ya know the type that sound like they are beating the keyboards with every letter and it's ONE.LETTER.AT.A.TIME. I have to turn on the fan at my desk sometimes to try and drown it out a tad.
Time since surgery: 16 months

L: Sweet and spicy tuna packet, baby carrots, and string cheese
S: SF latte, L&F Greek yogurt and P3 turkey pack
