What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
definitely will try it. I love my veggies. I think that is one of the hardest parts of the RNY for me. I KNOW I have to focus on protein, but I love love love veggies so much I hate to cut them out entirely. I eat more carbs than I should because I must have veggies with every meal. There is no way I can do pure protein.
We got 6" over night last night, now it is freezing rain!! UGH I keep telling myself that it is better to live somewhere with snow than tornadoes etc.....I just don't like snow! lol
My calories were a tad high, well for me anyway (just under 1000 cals), but my carbs numbers were great! I call that a win ;)

Well, to be honest, I have trouble with ALL meat! If I could realistically live without eating meat, I would think about it! ALL dense protein/meat feels like a bowling ball in my stomach, even if I just eat 1 oz. ugh The still vomit often from meat. NO FUN
But when I cooked this ground beef it was for tacos/taco salad, so I added taco seasoning and added chicken broth after cooked to help with moisture. It has been going down ok for me this week.
I'm hoping the weather clears by Thursday-- we're heading to Boston for the New Year. I can't complain about traffic at all this week- its been a breeze since practically no one is working! And while I love my son to pieces, I like having a break from driving him to school-- he chats up a storm and I like to drive in my own thoughts sometimes.
