Thanks, I think posting a plan is a really great idea. I ended up with a 3 pound weight gain. Ugh.  Had a chai this morning and will have meat and veggie for lunch or small salad with meat. Then I will have 1 oz fish and yogurt for snack with veggie spaghetti for dinner and yogurt with sunflower seeds before bed.  That should be right about 850 calories, low fat and low carbs.

Good morning.  Glad to see everyone had a nice Christmas.  I am with all of you who are getting back on track.  I've gained three pounds this month and would like them to Go Away!  So, I brought all the leftover Christmas cookies, etc. into the office.  Glad they are out of my house.  Don't know why, but this year I had a really hard time resisting.  I was hoping to go super low carb, but I have a slight cold and didn't have the energy to make my ground turkey for breakfast, so my day started out less protein forward than I would like.  at this point, I figure any day that I can resist adding in a cookie is a victory!  Here's to a better week.

B:   Overnight oats with caramel apple light and fit, fairlife milk and peanut butter

L:    Grilled chicken breast and carrots

D:   New York Strip and Broccoli

S:   Decaf Coffee with skim milk and Somersaults

Totals:  Cals: 856; Protein: 86g; Fat: 25g; Carbs 65g (tomorrow will be a better day)

So. Much. Chocolate!!!  It is a bad situation where PMS and Christmas Candy mix. I too must refocus.  I did, at least, track almost all of the Christmas candy, so I'm giving myself points for that.  Today I think I'll round up the rest of the christmas chocolate and put it in the freezer downstairs. If I want a piece of chocolate, I have to go into the basement, then wait for 20 minutes while it comes to room temperature.  I'll likely forget that it's there, like I did the girl scout cookies that have been down there since March. I did go down there once since and took out two thin mints and ground them up in a protein shake. That was pretty good.  Perhaps I can use the christmas candy in a similar manner.

Time since surgery: 13 years, or 5 months since revision.

B: Starbucks Skinny Peppermint Mocha and reduced fat turkey bacon sandwich (this was a lot of calories, I must be good rest of the day).

L: P3 Turkey Breast, cheese and almonds

S: 1 oz pistachios (also from Christmas)

D: ?? something very low carb because I'm already at 83 for the day, and high in protein because I'm only at 49.

S: Tea, 2 final pieces of Hershey's nuggets.

Totals without Dinner: 890 Cals, 49g protein, 83g Carbs, 41g Fat

Today I had to call my disability with a return to work date of this thursday, nearly broke my heart. It was the first time I've been 'off' not counting vacation in 15 years with the company. I was really aiming to be back 3 weeks out, not 2 1/2. But I am off Friday so I will try not to complain to much!

Christmas was great, dH and I decided to get cruiser bicycles for christmas. Mine is orange and his is black. I have not ridden since I was a child, and need to wait another week or two before I attempt it. Plus I need a helmet because I'm pretty accident prone. DH surprised me with a fitbit and a cover for my kindle my mom bought me. It was a great time off.

Pureed foods start for me tomm, so I went to the grocery store today for some actual foods (not shakes and soups). Also noticed that GLAD has a 1/2 cup baby storage sets, was so excited to find them today at kroger.

B: Decaf coffee, SF vanilla, Premier protein vanilla

L: Chocolate muscle milk in decaf coffee (I had a reward coupon for DD)

D: I'm going to try my hand at egg drop soup for dinner. This is one I normally would not choose (I like wanton soup which is bad for you) but I think I'm going to try it, plus it has protein!

S: carbmaster cinnamon bun greek yogurt (i think)
