Good Morning all! I hope everyone had a wonderful long holiday weekend and enjoyed themselves immensely! Was Santa good to you? Spill.
I am refocusing. I hopped on the scale this morning for the first time in like 2 and a half weeks and my holiday indulgences have netted me a 2 lb gain. It's not the end of the world, but it could be the beginning of the end if I don't shape up. Heh. Shape up.

Now I just HAVE to eat what I have planned....no unplanned grazing!!!
Hey all,
I am glad to be back in every way. I kept planning my meals straight through the holiday and exercised too. I didn't follow my plan to the letter but would have been lost without it - no gain, no loss this week. This is a holiday first!
I'm back to work and traveling out of town, as I do most weeks for work. While it's great that I won't be grazing and staring longingly at the treats in the house, it also means more processed foods as I don't have access to a kitchen (microwave and fridge only). Eating out in restaurants is generally worse! So, here's my plan for today:
Time since surgery: 1 week shy of 9 months
Breakfast
GNc Pro Performance - Lean Muscle Meal, 11 fl oz
Lunch
Bumble Bee - Albacore Tuna With Jalapenos & Olive Oil, 1 pouch (71g), Lettuce
Dinner
Atkins - Crustless Chicken Pot Pie meal
Snacks
Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurt - Toasted Coconut, 5.3 oz
Dunkin Donuts - Small Iced Coffee W/Cream, 16 oz
Totals: 840 cals, 27g carb, 45g fat, 76g protein
E: 30 minute Leslie Sansone "Belly Blaster" DVD
W/V: started
Have to run, it's time to answer some work emails. SIGH.
Have a great day everyone! Let's finish the year with a bang!!

137 pounds lost - from a 24/26W to a size 8/10!
We are Surgery Twins... well kinda I had mine 4/6/2011... so I'm going on 5 years out but same date lol... I've been stalking this thread again for quite sometime for accountability... I had a little regain and working to get it back off... anywho just saw your date and wanted to say hi! Feel free to ask questions if ya ever have any... I'll help in any way I can...
I am 9 years out as of 03/10/2008. I have since put on an extra 30 pounds, but am whittling away at it again. I am down 8 pounds and back on the wagon. I am not the best at planning out my menus but for the most part I have found consistency is the best way to go. I am really focusing on protein. I am usually a big eater of the following: nuts, lean turkey- both from deli and ground in the frozen food section, greek yogurt, fruit in its natural form, and wasa bread. I have been cooking a lot of homemade soups in my crockpot. Chili, caldo (chicken veggie soup), etc...
Thank you!!! I know I will be taking you up on that offer - so appreciated!

Morning friends! I am glad to be back to work today, too. When I'm not working, I have a hard time staying on a schedule and I feel like my eating either is too little or too much. I was able to maintain my weight through the holiday weekend, so I count that a victory. I'm back to basics today. I tried to keep my carbs low, but it's not easy.
Christmas weekend was wonderful. Christmas Eve was spent at my inlaws, we had yummy food (and I had only half a homemade sugar cookie), and there were gifts galore. There are 10 adults and 8 kids, and everyone had an abundance of gifts.
I hosted Christmas day, and we had a lot less people than I had planned. My mother and father in law came for a bit, but I had told them about my sister in law testing positive for Epstein-Barr so the sisters in law stayed away. It was alright, other than I had way too much food, which really is par for the course when I cook for the holidays. When all was said and done I had two gallon sized zip lock bags full of sliced ham. I froze one and we'll be eating the other for every meal for the next week.
As for if Santa was good to me, I got a ton of presents, but when my co-worker asked me what I got I couldn't remember. They were all nice, useful, appropriate gifts, but nothing that wowed me. I am happy with that because it helps to make my holiday more about the kids and the actual reason for the season that it is about me getting gifts for myself.
here are some pics of the Holidays!
Sideways pics are my enemy!
Food plan:
4.75 months since surgery
B: Light and Fit Pineapple, Unjury chocolate surpreme with fairlife skim and coffee
L: Bean with ham soup and a salad with feta and no dressing
D: Romain salad with ham and skinny girl salad dressing
S: Thin addictives and a laughing cow cheese
Total:

I'm serious about getting back on track. The holidays are over and though I'm having friends over for New Years Eve, both of them have had WLS so I'm thinking of just making a zucchini lasagna, and protein forward snacks.
