What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning everyone. So happy to get back to a normal routine after the holidays. I did well with the eating, but exercise was a struggle. So that's my resolution. To get back to my 5 day a week exercise schedule. The biggest news is that I Hit Goal!!!! Woo hoo! So happy. I never would be here without surgery. I am so thankful. I want to lose another 5 pounds or so for a cushion, and, as all of you wise people that have gone before me have said, my body will decided where it wants to land.
So glad to see you on the thread Anny. I've missed you.
I am working from home today because we had snow yesterday that was covered by a nice layer of ice from freezing rain. Yuck! Luckily, I can work from home, because there is no way I am driving in this mess.

As far as exercise motivation, at Anny's recommendation, I use the Sworkit app. It is short workouts that can be competed in a few minutes. I am going to run tonight. Maybe 3 miles, we will see.
Oh! I love Sworkit. It got SO cold here today that I just could not make myself get into the pool so I'm headed to the Y in a few minutes to run intervals with my sister. I think I'll Sworkit some stretching too!

Happy Birthday E!
New Years goals: Ride the Rockies Bicycle Tour, a sprint tri, and learn to love running. RTR involves 7 days of riding mountains at elevation thru some major mountain passes. I have to train. Did this ride in 2004 and one day I was so tired after 128 miles, that I put up the outside of my tent, planted my face on the floor and fell asleep. People were concerned. So, I am 12 years older, but about 40 pounds lighter (from then).
B: Protein Shake
S: 1/2 slice of pizza (bad way to start)
L: Tempah stir fry, yum
D: Tempah stir fry
S: 2 servings of moon cheese (dried from Starbucks)
S: 3 twin sf popsicles
Exercise: 90 min of spinning class and now at 10:00 pm I have to run. I have PT in the morning for a sore hip that is not sore. If I run, it will be sore so I can be evaluated.
