What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!
RNY @ Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia with Dr. Tatyan Clark 3/18/2014
I don't really make resolutions either! Very chilly today here in Illinois so Lily and I will do our 3.2 miles about 11 at the park. Then before bed we will do a bit over a mile. After coffee,I will head down and do 30 minutes on the exercise bike. Having added time on the bike has brought my weight back down to 120.8 today. Finally!, I was creeping up near 124 without it and I refuse to have to buy new clothes! Sometimes it pays to be a tightwad! On track with vitamins and fluids and here's the food B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L chili with grated cheese D 31/2 Oz grilled flounder and 1/2 c broccoli and cauliflower steamed S Greek yogurt. Have a great day everyone and make some smart choices along the way!
Well, I'm sick. Started last week with a runny nose and sneezing, now turned into an infection. Going to PCP today. Really hate this since I'm only 3 weeks out tomm. Plus the sneezing is making my side hurt worse!
Oh, I had a soft scrambled egg yesterday with ricotta yesterday and it didn't make me sick! I was so happy about this since I heard many people couldn't eat them at first.
Today im having
B: premier protein vanilla
S:
L: FF refried beans/salsa
S:
D: Either white fish from captain d's mashed up or spam turkey cooked and mashed. Yes it sounds terrible.
I'm back at work today- luckily 1/2 days M-W then back 8 hours on Thurs. Very happy about this- getting my hair trimmed up this afternoon (not thinned out this time because I'm expecting the hair loss).
Resolutions- to get more active. Got a bicycle for Christmas, and I'm looking to use my amazon prime membership to my advantage by getting free exercise videos on there. Also planning a 5 k for end of Feb.
