Burping always

I am 3 weeks post up and no matter what I drink or eat as my pureed food I am always bulping,, I sip very small amounts and make my pureed food last a half hour,,,is this normal,,cause it is driving me crazy,,i am scared something is wrong,,can anyone help..thank you

I remember having some liquid (and I can't remember the name) but it was prescription, and I drank it for like a couple months to help with that...does someone here know the name?

I'm taking liquid zantac 150- but switching to pill 2 weeks out.

I am burping also but it is not bad.

I am almost 2 weeks out and burping all the time, too after I eat or drink!  I am wondering if it is just our bodies adjusting to the smaller pouch and the air we swallow with eating or sipping has to go somewhere.  I am hopeful it will stop with time.  Mine hurts because I still have a g tube and I am getting referred shoulder pain, so every time I burp, I wince :(.  I see the DR on Wednesday and I am hoping to find a burping solution and a g tube removal!  Let me know if you get some relief from the burps!

Thank you everyone....yes I am in pain with this burping all the time....just wish there was something to ease it abit...

You may be having esophageal spasms.  Call your surgeon. If it is spasms, he may give you hyoscyamine, which comes in little pills you dissolve in your mouth or in liquid (this might be what teachermom1981 was referring to). 

I'm 5 1/2 years out and still burp all the time! I've checked with my dr and there's no complications, so I've gotten used to it.
