No more Christmas Cookies, Candies, etc. indeed!   I thought we had finally reached the tail end of it, but NOOOO, a supplier just brought in a massive box of Godiva!  GIVE ME STRENGTH!

I have managed to not eat too much of the bad stuff, but I have indulged,  I haven't gained, but I'm still not losing.

I'm not much of a karaoke person because I really cannot carry a tune in a bucket, my sister sings beautifully, I'm not jealous, much LOL.

I am so done with Christmas 'special' food. Been in Florida since Satirday with a young family I am friends with, I'm adopted Mom/Grandma. So there has been lots of cooking, cookies and a little wine, took 2 sips of Irish Cream and it sent me woozy ... Actually felt it after one sip, second was because it tasted good. After my celebration of Onderland I am scared to get on the scale. Going home tomorrow.

B; premier ½ slice French tDoast

L:taking kids to Culvers after Santa. We will see

D: meatballs and sauce salad

S: Greek yogurt

Good morning.  I hear you guys on the Christmas cookies.  Last week was horrible.  I ate waaaayyyyyy too many sugary/carby foods and I am definitely feeling it.  Not only has my weight gone up, but I just feel "off."  My stomach constantly hurts and, TMI here, my bathroom habits are out of wack.  You know when a spoonful of peanut butter and chocolate chips is your pre-breakfast snack that a change needs to me made.  I still need to do some more baking (I have requests from friends and family) but I've put the chips away (the big bag from Costco has been sitting on my counter) and the peanut butter is out of sight also.  Small steps, right?  I NEED to get back on track.  So far, so good this week.  I'm just taking it one day at a time.

Karaoke --- Hmmmm.  We had "forced" karaoke at our holiday party.  I'm not joking, they literally dragged people out of their seat.  The attorney I was sitting next to and I had a pact . . . if she got dragged up I would go with her and if I did, she would go with me.  We decided on a festive rendition of Jingle Bell Rock . . . which was nixed by the associate in charge of the machine.  Instead, he punched in a random number and we ended up with Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer.  Not too bad.  If I had my choice I would pick anything by Elton John.  Easy!

Here's my plan:

B: Turkey (3 oz), spinach and cheese (1 oz)

L: Grilled chicken (3.5 oz) veggies and edamame

D: Shrimp and salad with pancetta and blue cheese

S: Sugar Free vanilla latte (my starbucks was out of the holiday flat white . . . boo), Light and Fit/PB2 and Somersaults (throughout the day)

TOTALS: Cal. 1142; Protein: 116g; Fat: 48g; Carbs: 60g (everything is high but better than its been)

Well, it happened, Onderland! But, I've already had 2 Christmas cookies, and I'm feeling like I'm having a carb overload. I'm about to fall alseep at my desk. It might have to do with the fact that I've been up since 4am. I'm also sick, with an itchy sore throat. I forgot my surgar free cough drops. I'm going to have to run out at lunch here and get a bag of them.

As posted earlier, I hit Onderland this morning. I've been anticipating it, and I am super excited about it, but then again, I had 2 christmas cookies, so lets see how long I maintain it. I'm praying just to make it past Christmas without any regain, and then things will get back to normal. I'm a creature of habit and I need my routine. So not there right now.

Here's food for the day, I logged the ******g cookies:

B: coffee and 1/2 unjury chocolate supreme with 4oz fairlife milk (made a whole one, but can't fini****)

L: Luncheon here at work, there will be chicken and keilbasa with saurkraut for sure, so I logged those, will update if it changes.

D: shrimp.

S: cookies. I'll be so glad when Christmas is over. I had a peanut butter cookie, but threw the hersheys kiss in the trash. I also had a thumbprint cookie with raspberry jam. She made this awesome thing that is toffee, crackers and chocolate. OMG, I only had a small bite, but it is soooooo good.

So far with what I plan to eat and what I've already eaten. Looks like Onderland is only here for a short time. :(

calories 950 protein 69 carbs 50 fat 41

please forgive the F-bombs, I didn't expect to be this weak willed today.

Here is a pic of me in the cute Christmas dress at work.

PS. Just found out my sister in law tested positive for Epstein-Barr virus. She's not having any symptoms right now, so we plan on going forward with Christmas plans, but I need advice from you smart ladies. Would you risk being around someone who is possibly contagious?

Super cute pic and congrats again on ONEderland. I am the worst person to ask about being around someone who is sick as I am a germ-a-phobe and would say NO WAY (I know, I'm mean!)
