What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Thanks! My hubby and I have a date night saturday. Both boys are staying at my mom's. We're going to a murder mystery train dinner show. We've been once before years ago and enjoyed it. They are serving prime rib. I'm sure I'll have one drink, but my husband will be driving that night.
Sending good vibes for continued loss on your trip.
It is not the driving... you don't know how you will react. I still would do a 'test' few sips at home one night.

Good morning,
I hear ya about the tree, I would go crazy too. Luckily my daughter is 15 and a girl so my tree came out really well. I would have done it a tad different, but I'm trying not to be a "micro manager".
If I had to choose one of those Christmas specials it would be "The Littlest Angel", most of the others really get on my nerves now. I do however love "It's a Wonderful Life" and "The Christmas Story", have to watch them every year.
Time since surgery: Dangerously close to 8 months
B: Premier Protein Shake and Decaf Tea
L; Roast beef, provoline and 1 slice vermont bread soft wheat (damn carbs)
D: Who knows. Last night we had grilled chicken ceasar, I've had way too much chicken this week. Maybe I'll make a frittata
S: Babybel,
Yesterday was bad, I ate two Harry & David Chocolate Truffles from one of the many baskets in our kitchen area, 220 freaking calories, I don't even remember how many carbs or fat. Then last night I had some chips. I feel disgusting today. I vow to be good today, too many little slipups lately.
That is so funny I have never even heard of those 2 specials AV! Mine are Charlie Brown/Peanuts and Rudolph. I have an homage to Rudolph in Christmas decorations. One year (many. many years ago) CVS did a different character every week from the Rudolph series- small stuffed toy. They line the back of my couch. I also have all the noisemaker kind of Christmas toys too... they line the floor in front of my TV. I introduced my son to them this year. He was equally terrified and intrigued when I showed him. He looked terrified and then went 'do it again' His favorite ended up being 'Grandma got run over by a reindeer' Moose...hahaha, much to his parents chagrin. They kept trying to tell him it was 'Grandma ran next to a reindeer' hahahaha
Fell prey to 5 Christmas cookies last night, and yes I did have mild dumping , ie nausea and lightheadedness.... it is still a journey...
Yesterdays lunch out was horrible. I ordered the slider appetizer as a meal figuring they are small. I ordered them medium, they came out well done and dry. I ate 2 of them and paid for it they were stuck in my throat.... didn't get the foamies, but just goes to show you 17 months out you still go****ch things like that.
B; Scrambled egg, 1 sl cheese on 1 slice toast
S: Some kinda smoothie or premier
L: tuna on salad
S: Kind Bar
D: Chicken lentil curry
S: Cookie exchange... there will be appetizers but I know the woman doing it will have good ones. Cookies go in the freezer when I get home to be given out at Christmas.
EDIT: Posted my Plastic Surgery Consultations update on PS forum if you want to take a look
