My two year surgiversary, with a before and after picture!
So proud of you!! Keep up the good work. You know what to do to lose those 10 pesky pounds. Please do not let them multiply (I have seen too many people here let that happen).
And post updated pics of your arms

I feel like I have a healthy amount of fear around those multiplying so I am determined. Just had my salmon and cucumbers for lunch :) I totally need new arm pics - I have just recently gotten back to strength training so I am being kind of vain and want to get my biceps a little more defined ha ha. I promise to post arm pics soon!
And you're one of the people I have looked up to since I joined this site 2.5 years ago. You do an awesome job at tackling maintenance every single day. I hope to be (plan to be?) as successful as you!
Glad you posted, I was thinking yesterday, I hadn't seen you in awhile. You are an inspiration and it is a journey we need to keep plugging away at. I totally took to heart someone wrote here one time 'we can't fall into the trap of being normal'
Congratulations!

Thanks for the message on post surgery life. I'm 17 months post surgery and feel the same way. People who know about surgery will question why I still weigh, measure and log everything even though I'm 130ish pounds down. I tell them that even though I'm slim on the outside, there is, and will always be, a fat girl inside of me struggling to get out and ruin my success. Making good, conscious choices is what keeps her deep inside. Congrats on your results and here's to an equally successful year 3!
Thanks! The crazy thing is it doesn't make me teeny tiny. I'm short so that goal puts me at the very top range for a normal BMI. My Dr. tells me to stop focusing on BMI so much and that I'm at a very healthy weight right now but I want to be NORMAL!!!!! Congrats again! I love following your progress!!
I also do not go by BMI. I am still "overweight" technically, but at 160 lbs, I looked and felt really healthy! I did a Dexa body scan before my plastics and had a great percentage of body fat - in fact, I just signed up for a new one in January. That tells more than the BMI charts! Try one if you can - you can see your bone density, fat, and lean muscle mass. It's fascinating!
Actually I did a dexascan at the end of October because of you posting about it. I did post about it but it was probably a week you were traveling. :)... According to the generic BMI charts I thought I needed to be 170 to be at 24% bodyfat, the top end of 'normal'. Turns out I only need to be 189. A huge difference. (I am 5'11").... really helped me put things in perspective. So glad I did it, and I would do it again too.
