What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
I ran my first half marathon with my sister in law 2 days before my first surgiversary. As we were standing waiting to start, I started to cry looking around and realizing that I was finally no different than every one else. I started to cry again when we crossed the finish line, amazed that I had actually done something so physical. The emotions of the day were overwhelming and I 100% get where you are coming from. The surgery is an amazing gift that I am thankful for every single day!

I don't have an opinion on Xbox, we have a Wii and it doesn't get as much use as it used to. Daughter loves her Nintendo 3DS still, we have never used an Xbox.
My shopping is done, I still have to purchase a few stocking stuffers and wrap all the presents. My daughter decorated the tree yesterday when she got home from school, she did a great job, so she gets to do it by herself from now on. One less thing for me to worry about.
We are going out for our annual holiday lunch today. Luckily it is a steakhouse so I already have my lunch planned.
B: Premier Protein Shake, Decaf tea
L: Beef Tenderloin Tips, salad and balsamic dressing (this is my favorite dish at this steakhouse and only served at lunchtime)
D: Chicken, broccoli
S: ? Probably a Yasso bar tonight
I'll do the numbers lately, but this should come in just under 800 calories and about 80 grams protein
Good morning. I have not bought a single gift for anyone other than my assistant, and I only did that because my office exchanges gifts at the holiday party which is this Friday. This is the farthest behind I've ever been. I'm also crazy busy and work and the stress is getting to me. I ate a handful of chocolate chips this morning as I was watching the news coverage of the Los Angeles School District closure and packing my food for the day. Who eats random handfuls of chocolate chips? This girl. I need to regain control or just chuck all the baking stuff from my house. On the bright side, I was FINALLY able to get a decaf flat white. Delish! Why do the holidays have to end?? Here's hoping I can rebound from my chocolate chip breakfast and eat clean the rest of the day (even though there are molasses ginger cookies and peanut butter chip nutella bars ON MY DESK!!!)

L: Grilled chicken and steamed veggies
D: Tri Tip and asian slaw
S: Somersaults, light and fit and PB2; tall flat white; 10 chocolate chips (how could I forget to add my coffee and my chocolate chip breakfast???)
Totals: Cal: 1022; Protein: 100g; Fat: 39g; carbs: 62g (ugh)

I am at my inlaws this week and then my patents next week. Been having a semi hard time with food. Eating just a touch more calories than I usually have, and yesterday I had almost 50 carbs. Its still not bad, but I like being able to have a complete menu planned and ready. My routine is out of whack and I hate it. At least I have people to talk to in person for once.
Totals: no idea but I'll log it and make sure I make my protein goals.

Put my inner fat girl back in her place saturday and it is starting to pay off. I am down another couple of pounds this week.
