What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Good morning. I'm here with your cautionary tale for the day. At almost 5 months out, I let myself get distracted from my usual routines and got very sick from dehydration, yesterday. I had all the awful symptoms--diarrhea, fever, dizziness, and cramps in my hands so bad that I couldn't uncurl my fingers... Don't forget to drink, people! It's awful!
But in more positive news, my shopping is done and I get two weeks off for the holidays (paid) that don't count against my vacation accrual. Yay for a new generous job!
B: Chai protein drink (with extra unflavored protein to up the total a bit) & Greek yogurt
S: Mr. Cheese Os
L: Sargento Balanced Break & carrot sticks
S: almonds & babybell
D: probably another protein shake? I'm just never hungry when I get home...
Exercise
Nothing formal, but this job has me really active! I'm getting a minimum of 12,000 steps a day with no extra walk or treadmill action ;)
- High Weight before LapBand: 200 (2008)
- High Weight before RNY: 160 (2015)
- Lowest post-op weight: 110 (2016)
- Maintenance Weight: 120 (2017-2019)
- Battling Regain Weight: 135 (current)
I think that the choice between xbox 360 and xbox one is going to be about money, and what else he has. You can get a new xbox 360 with a game for $140, the xbox one is like $300 or more depending on the bundle. Also, the xbox one is top of the line right now, so you won't have to upgrade that as soon as you might a xbox 360. There are more games for xbox 360 right now, and they are cheaper.
What other console does he have? If he has a PS4, I'd say get the 360. But I'd get the Xbox One.
Good morning and happy Tuesday!!
I had to ask my stepson for you, AV, but clearly its' Xbox One from his perspective. :-) I am not a gamer, though I am definitely a techy geek type person. Just never got that gaming gene. :-)
My anti-grazing plan worked pretty well yesterday but this afternoon, stepson and his girlfriend are hanging out in the family room - finals week break for both of them. Anyhoo, I'm back in my office and near the kitchen. I am stronger than the grazing urge, I can do this!
Here's my plan for the day today.

Breakfast
Quest Nutrition - Double Chocolate Chunk Bar (Corrected), 1 Bar
Lunch - a "tuna melt":
Hellmanns - Light Mayonaisse, 1 tbsp
Genova - Tuna, 0.25 cup
Cabot - Cheddar Cheese Sharp Light Snack, 1 bar
Dinner
Chicken Tetrazzini Casserole (1/8), 1 serving(s)
(the Campbell's recipe, but lightened up considerably with the use of Spaghetti Squash, more veggies, no breadcrumbs!! the fam loves it!!)

Dannon - Light & Fit (Peach), 1 container, 6 oz
Mini Babybel

OK kids I am back to work. Everytime I get up to snack I am going to do a lap around the house. That should take care of it.
Hugs to all!

I dont do much Christmas shopping so I am done. Youngest son got an airplane ticket home and oldest will get a ticket for when he can come home in February so that was easy! On track with vitamins and fluids and here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein powder and 1 T peanut butter L 1/2 c sloppy Joe meat with 1/2 c sweet potatoes D 1 c ham and beans S Greek yogurt. Have a great day full of good choices everyone!
Good Morning!! I did get today off so I am hoping to finish up my shopping. I already hit Walmart after the gym this morning. I don't have an opinion on a gaming system since we don't own a new one (my hubby still has his Nintendo-lol) my daughter is asking for yet another American Girl doll from Santa (yes, she's 11 and we still have Santa visit).
Time since surgery: 16 months

My son is 10 and he still believes and I love it. Yesterday he regaled me with a story about how he knows that our Elf on the Shelf is "100% REAL". LMAO
My husband drives our son to school every day. He must've come back into the house for something before they left yesterday morning and moved the Elf. When Michael got off the bus and saw Buck had 'moved' during the day, he was totally convinced. I love Christmas. LOL

I typed my message in here yesterday and I got so busy I never got to finish! Yesterday was Day 1 of the week before holiday break and I'm a middle school science teacher. Yesterday I started the day out afraid that my eating would get off track but I am so proud of myself. The school provided our lunch and it was from Moe's Southwestern Restaurant or whatever it's called. I've never been but that's what I think it is! I brought a back-up in case that it was unhealthy but I ended up eating it. I just got all the parts of a taco but no taco. That ended up great because I saved yesterday's lunch for today! Today has also been great so far as my eating goes.
So yesterday, I went to my 4th cycling class. The teacher is an elementary principal and boy, she pushes us. I would be afraid to be in her office!!! At one point in the class, I found myself peddling my heart out, eyes closed, sweat pouring into them and burning, and I was starting to cry. Why, might you ask?!?! Well, for starters, that sh*t hurt! Secondly, I have NEVER pushed myself like I did in that class yesterday. Oh my...how I felt and it was an extremely emotional hour that is hard to describe, but maybe some of you can relate to. It's like realizing I can do this, I can actually push myself that far, and yet, look at how long I abused my own body and how I now have to compensate. Life lessons always learned the hard way, right? I got home and wanted to tell my husband about it, but I didn't. He has two herniated back discs, and he's having a tough time at the moment. He's a working man, so being home is really hard for him. I wanted to be supportive and not go on about my emotional moment, so I will share with you all instead :)
I don't know anything about gaming systems; my kids have a PS3 and they do that every so often. I don't know about anything else.
Here's my idea of food for the day:
B: coffee protein (hot)
S: egg whites with salad mix chopped up, 1/2 piece lowfat provolone, and 6 slices of all natural turkey breast
L: salad mix, cherry tomatoes, lowfat olive garden dressing (2tbsp. is 30 cals), shakshouka (yes that was my recipe!), fresh green beans, lowfat cheese stick
S: protein bar, light and fit greek yogurt with 1/2 scoop protiein powder
D: probably shakshouka and veggies and turkey
I might have another yogurt or something if my numbers allow. So I think I am going to stop eating fruit because of the carbs. Is anyone else in that boat? I was eating only an apple a day but that has 22 carbs. Hmmm....thoughts?
