SURGERY IS TOMORROW
I am having my surgery tomorrow, too. I find myself really nervous just like you are. I am not too nervous about the lifestyle changes; however, I'm definitely nervous about the surgery itself. I am eager to get it over worth and move past it to start working toward better health. I have 3 elementary-age kids, so I want to feel good enough to be active again. And I want to stop worrying about how unhealthy I am. Even though I know I'm doing the right thing, I am still so anxious about tomorrow.
I'll pray for you. I appreciate others' prayers, too.
Thanks!
I will be glad as well when it is done and I am on my way home. I will pray for you as well Laura, yes this is the healthy thing to do. Good luck tomorrow. I know we are both going to do great. Let's keep track of each other and how great we both do on our way to being healthy.

You two are like twins. While you are thinking about something exciting and life changing - the rest of us get to watch the Presidential debates.
Best wishes to you both!!

I am 7 days post -op from a gastric bypass and remember excactly how you are feeling! These forums have been such a god-send! Every time I have a question, wether it be about recovery issues or how to cope with questions about the future (like will I be able to eat such and such) I feel such support. Even if you have a great support system (I feel very blessed with mine) it can still be a little lonely and surreal. It is natural to feel nervous and uncertain - this is a big decision! I wish you the very best! Just keep remembering why you are doing it when you get nervous :)

You will get to your weight, sometimes even faster than you wish. These blogs or forums really help. I always search when I have issues. Like now that I am on my wieght my blood pressure is too low. I found many good feedback here. I am so happy I searched. I didnt even know I had signed up to this site 4 days after my surgery.
You will look back and be so happy you did this surgery. Your life will be better and you will have much more energy.
All the best for a smooth post-op.
