Hello hello ladies,
My weekend was good. Very productive. Got both trees up. Yes, two. We have a big (fake) one in the living room and I put a little 3 1/2 footer on a table top in the basement family room. Got them both decorated, and I'm feeling quite Christmas-y despite the very warm (for the northeast) weather. Got s lot of cleaning and organizing done... the only thing left to do are my christmas cards. I'm mostly done with my shopping as my stepchildren only want money. I hate that as I love wrapping the gifts! So I still try to buy them something they wouldn't get for themselves.... I'm crazy right??? LOL
AV, Venison backstrap is the BOMB DIGGITY BOMB! Hubby didn't get a deer this year so we're out of backstrap meat until at least next year. So sad!
Working at home today, which is nice but also a major temptation. I've put myself into the basement family room to work today because it helps me avoid grazing... if I am in my office area on the main floor I find myself noshing (or thinking about noshing) most of the day. I'm fine when I am out of sight so, downstairs is the way to go.
Here's my gameplan for the day.
Time since surgery - 8 1/2 months
Breakfast:
Unjury protein shake - Protein Shake, 1 scoop
Organic Valley - 1% Organic Milk, 1 cup
Lunch:
Sabra - fire roasted salsa (hot), 2 tbsp.
Giant - Oven Roasted Chicken, 2 oz
Cabot - Cheddar Cheese Sharp Light Snack, 1 bar
Dinner:
Pork loin - Pork Loin, 3 oz
Carrots, baby, roasted, 2 oz(s)
Snacks:
Coffee with Cream - Half and half, 2 oz(s)
Dannon - Light & Fit (Peach), 1 container, 6 oz
Totals: 662 calories, 42g carbs, 22g fat, 76 g protein
Exercise: 60 mins circuit training (BooYah!)
W/V - started
Busy day today, work wise. And then I have band practice tonight - always a blast but also pretty exhausting. Have a great and rocking day everyone!!!
Christine

Better late then never, right? It's 3 pm here, but I haven't had lunch so I guess this still counts as planning ahead. I have that giant work project this week so it's going to be a busy one. This weekend I hit 100 lbs lost since I started working on losing the regain (and beyond). The total in my signature is my total overall since my original surgery, but for the past year and a half I've been "back on the wagon" as it were. It's sort of a complicated benchmark, but I figure if anyone would understand it would be the folks here.
Time Since Surgery: 12.9 years, 4.5 months from revision.
B: Protein Coffee
S: Greek Yogurt & String Cheese (both eaten while running to meetings)
L: Maybe a greek salad with falafel. Not much is still open.
S: P3 protein pack (this might just become lunch instead)
D: A dish my husband makes that I lovingly call stewy meat. It's tomatoes, eggplant and usually lamb all stewed together. It's delicious comfort food.
S: Tea and french twists
Totals (if I eat the whole salad, or even still get it for that matter): Cals 1112, Protein 78, Carbs 89, Fat 54
