Just found out I'll need gastric bypass instead of sleeve

Thank you all! I believe I'm setting a date tomorrow so ready or not, we're doing this! 

I was hoping for a sleeve as well. When I went to see the surgeon, he told me it would be the rny. Kind of nervous about that one.

Thanks all. My date has been set. December 17 so in just over a week! I'm pretty nervous now that a date is set and it's a different procedure but after such a long approval process I am definitely ready to change and get my life back

All of these responses have been really encouraging for me. I'm scheduled for surgery 1/14 and really scared. I've also still been undecided about which procedure to have as my surgeon said I can do either. I have gone back and forth, but ultimately I want the best result...
