Normal BMI? What an accomplishment. It has to be exciting. I'm excited everytime my scale moves a smidge, so this milestone has to be HUGE for you. Congrats and good job on all the hard work to get there.
Which Christmas songs do I hate? How about that crazy I Want A Hippopatamus for Christmas song. I want to stab my ears with an icepick when it comes on. It's strange, because I love the song Dominic the Italian Christmas Donkey, which is just as obnoxious, but there is something about singing along Heehaw heehaw that just makes me giggle. If you haven't heard it, please do yourself a favor and search for it on Youtube. It's horrible but hilarious.
I'm going to the dermatologist today at lunch. I'm going to talk to her about maybe some topical meds. I've been taking doxycycline for a week and it's already started to clear me up. But I have to avoid dairy in the morning, and it makes me a little nauseated, so it's an inconvenience. If I can find something else that works, I'd be a happy girl.
My plan is incomplete today because I don't know what I'm making for dinner. I called and asked my husband to pull something out, but I don't know what he pulled. But if he pulls it, I will cook it that is my moto. hopefully it's ground beef, or maybe TJs chicken sausage. Anyway, I'll definitely log when I figure it out. Here's what I have so far without dinner:
B: 1/2 a small banana with my antibiotics and 1oz chicken jerky when I got to work. Also a decaf coffee with cream and splenda.
L: lasagna no noodles. This is the 4th meal in a row of this and I don't think I'm sick of it yet. Romain salad with skinny girl dressing
D: ???
S: spinach and garlic crackers with a cheesestick

after reviewing my numbers, I think I'm going to eat shrimp for dinner. It gives me the best bang for my buck protein vs carbs and calories.

My new favorite thing? Premier Protein Chocolate- heated with SF Peppermint Mocha syrup - 2 TBSP and some milk to make 16oz total... OMG sooooooo good. Drinking it now.
Had my first Plastics consult yesterday, wrote about it on the Plastic surgery board if you want to read it.
Down another pound this AM. I recently had my thyroid meds adjusted so it seems to have kicked things in gear a little.

I've been MIA for a week because I had this HUGE project at work that was completely overwhelming and was expected to culminate today... but then the launch got postponed so now I just sit and wait. Arg.
I've not heard many christmas songs this year (other than the 40 seconds of my life I'll never get back after listening to that horrible grocery store song that AngryViking warned us about). I think I generally tune out the music as I'm out in grocery stores and such. As for a least favorite, I've never understood why that song about someone's poor grandmother being run over by a reindeer even exists, so I'm going to go with that one.
Time since surgery: Almost 13 years, or 4.5 months since revision

L: Stirfry Chicken, carrots and broccoli leftover from dinner last night

D: Steak, mushrooms and onions, collard greens or chard

TOTALS: 912 Cals, 85 protein (okay, might need to fix that) 72 Carbs, 27 Fat
Depending on how the day goes, I might walk to Starbucks for a nonfat tea latte to add some protein. It's a half mile away, so it will also be exercise. I wore my walking shoes today.

Normal ... what's normal? With all the weight that I have lost so far I thought I would be "normal" but still labeled at overweight! Stupid BMI index.
As far as songs: right now it doesn't seem like the holiday time for me, so ALL songs. If I hear something that sounds like christmas music I change the channel as fast as I can.
