What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Good Morning all! The week is winding up and I couldn't be happier to see this one go away. LOL Just a couple more things to get through; my son's Christmas concert is tonight, then tomorrow he has one last orthodontia appointment to check his retainer and finally it's the Raingutter Regatta at Scouts. Is it terrible of me to say that I really hate Scouting events? Well, pack events. I don't mind when it's just the den because it's only 3 of them, but the pack has like 50 kids and they. are. animals. Maybe I'll tie one on before we go. LMAO
Oh! You guys. I'm "normal". As in, I'm 5'5" and as of this morning's weigh-in, am sitting at 148.6 lbs. That's a 24.7 BMI...normal. I know it's a imperfect measure, but it's still pretty damn cool. I woke my husband up so he could come and look at the scale. HA!
Question of the Day! What's your least favorite Christmas song? You all know you've been hearing them everywhere for a month now, so there's go to be at least one that grates. For me, it's that ridiculous song about the guy who runs into an old girlfriend at the store. You know the one where he sneaks up on her in the frozen foods, she spills her purse and then they laugh until they cry? W. T. F. Every time I hear that stupid song it makes me want to take a hostage. I also hate any and all versions of Silver Bells. LOL

Still packing, packing and more packing while home. Yesterday at work was spent making copies and scanning eleventybillion financial papers for our loan on the new house and you know...actually WORKING and whatnot.
My carbs have been high, I NEED to cut the **** out. But I am sick with this damn nasty cold, and moving, and stressed and some things have eaten that I normally do not eat. I KNOW its stress/being sick, yet I can't seem to snap out of it! I am hoping once we are fully moved in with my parents it will get better......or my brain will have a chance to catch up with the rest of me.
Here is my somewhat menu for today....
8 Months since surgery
B: 3/4c Fairlife skim milk, 1 scoop syntrax milk chocolate
L: 1/2c chicken salad from deli, 1c romaine
D: 3/4c leftover chili (homemade), 1oz shredded cheese
S: (throughout the day) 2 Baybel light cheese, 1oz beef jerky
Totals: Cals: 915 Protein: 108 Carbs: 30 Fat: 40
Moving is soooooo stressful I HATE everything about packing and moving and all that **** I told my husband if we ever move again, he is putting me up in a spa until everything is done. LOL That threat alone should keep us put forever.
And yeah, my husband was so happy for my little victory, but then he was like "You know, honey, you're still not really normal." LMAO
Yeah and we get to move in a week and a half, into my PARENTS HOUSE.....then move again in February when we close on the new house. Moving twice.....I may go insane before this is all said and done! HAHA
I have already told the Hubs, I am NEVER moving again after we get into our house. NEVER....
You will get there and more! Just think, you had your surgery a year after I did. I bet by this time next year, or even sooner, you'll be right where you want to be!

Congratulations on being normal. I dream of being normal. I have to say there are two Christmas songs I do not like at all. The 12 days of Christmas unless it's the Muppets singing it I will listen. I do not like the Little Drummer Boy either.
Getting the house decorated is what part of my day has going on. My daughter is coming home. I can't wait to see her and spend time with her.
B:Coffee then egg salad
L:Tuna fish and some cheese
D:Chicken with pesto and mozzarella cheese
S:Cheese stick/yogurt maybe
Vitamins are in water is going down.
