What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Good Monday morning all! You guys, I'm beat. This was the longest weekend in the history of weekends and I need another weekend to recover. LOL Which I don't think is going to happen until after the holidays because I am scheduled up to my eyeballs. On the upside I was finally able to give my Dad a haircut and trim his beard, and considering I've never used a pair of clippers in my life, I think I did a pretty good job. Well, except for the part when I cut his neck with the scissors when I was trimming his Dumbledore beard. HA! I was freaked out, but he was like, "whatever". And my son's first basketball game of the season was a good one. Even though they lost 23-19, they all played hard and looked good out there on the court. How was everyone else's weekend?

I have a love/hate relationship with weekends during the holidays. Every single one is planned and full of running around. I love the holidays and getting together with people but I hate all the driving and lack of time to do the normal things like laundry.

My weekend was both good and bad. My shoulder/back started spasming on Friday and continued throughout the weekend. I self mediciated with muscle relaxers (given to me the last time this happened) with no improvement. I will head to urgent care after work :( I did manage to design and pick up our family Christmas cards, take back a TV bought on Black Friday, and pick up a new dress for my daughter on Saturday. Yesterday we went and got pics taken of all the grandkids on my side. Also a hoot (insert much sarcasm) to deal with my evil sister-in-law and her minions. But my mom will be happy and that is all that matters. P.S. I ate like crap yesterday. It may have included a wrap from taco bell...

Good Morning, glad you got so much accomplished at your Dad's-great job. Tis the season to be busy!! I am thrilled to report that getting the trampoline put together was easy (well especially for me who was at lunch with my daughter and sister) and when we got home she was so surprised and loved it. And, NSV for me was being able to get in there and jump with her!
Hope everyone has a great start to the week!
