Scars, where DONT I have them? I used to joke to my husband I was held together by scar tissue and fat....now I might fall apart because there is alot less fat.

I dont really have to do a carb detox because I am still working my post op program. No maintenance for me yet. My biggest problem is I forgot I ate something and then feel like I should eat and then realize I over ate. I dont have hunger pains(never have) so logging is helping me see this issue.

Premier protein with decaf americano and sugar free peppermint

1/2 c of beanless turkey chili and 1/3 c cheese

Skinny Mocha

Chocolate protein shake

Cheeseburger pie

Cal: 745 Protein 111 Carbs 33 Fat 24

Good morning.  Scars . . . I have a bunch.  I had my gallbladder removed 8 months after my WLS.  I asked my surgeon if he could just reuse my WLS scars and he said he would if he could.  Bad idea . . . before the second surgery the scars were pretty much invisible, after . . . not so much.  I probably would have been better off with new holes.  I also have had knee surgery and two surgeries on my left hand.  You'd never be able to notice that scar if you didn't know it was there.  My surgeon did a great job!  The carb detox is going relatively well and I've been below 50g a day.  I should try to go lower.  I've also been lower calorie than normal lately.  You would think that lower calorie + lower carb = lower weight.  Not true.  My weight is actually up this week and it's making me crazy.  Oh well, I'll just carry on and hope that it straightens itself out.  Here's my plan:

B: Turkey (3.5 oz), spinach and cheese (1 oz)

L: Ahi poke and edamame

D: Chicken Thighs and Asian slaw

S: Somersaults; Light and Fit and PB

Totals: Cal. 950; Protein: 92g; Fat: 44g; Carb: 42g

Late again. Stupid job (can say that on day 2?). Actually it's been a great start :)

I did great on the walking today! I hit 8400 steps just by running around the school all day. Once I hit the treadmill, I'll kill it tonight! 

But I'm still finding it hard to get enough food in. Here's what I had today:

B: Chai Protein drink

S: almonds

L: tomato soup

D: babybell cheese and almonds

I feel so nauseated when I think about food right now. But if I don't get more protein in, I'm going to go bald next week!
