I have a 2 in scar on my thigh from the surgery I had to close a hole my friends dog bit out of my leg(my pants didnt have a hole I still dont understand how) Some scars on my knees from falling while playing on the ice and hitting a random stick that was frozen into it. I also have a few scars on my forearm from when I was a teenager and accidently stuck my hand through a window(I was with friends and we were leaning against an old house, a giant spider was crawling on my shoulder and I freaked out and when I was slapping it off me my hand went through the window. didnt need stitches atleast)

My uncle lives outside of Charlotte. We're tentatively planning a trip to see him next summer, then heading down to visit some friends near Savannah, GA. I've never been to either place, but I love the pics he posts. I only see him at funerals, so it will be nice to go visit him where he's lived for 25 years.
Edited to fix hilarious autofill. Lol
Hi Kristen and all,
I have been well, not off the rails, but not eating as I should, since Thanksgiving. It's like last week I was in "vacation mode" and had Chinese, stuffing, pie, etc. And somehow that continued as I came back to DC and we just had three of the dreariest, rainiest days. Today the sun is out, and I have new resolve. I just threw away a few things that shouldn't even be in my house (I hate to waste but oh well) and I already mixed up tuna salad for me to have when I get home from my 11:30 am post-op arm lift doctor's appointment. So I feel set up for success, other than having to go to Whole Foods tonight and buy dinner (so it's a TBD).
Scars, oh god, I feel like a Frankenstein. My RNY incisions didn't leave any marks, but I tore both meniscuses in my knees so I have small scars on my knees. I have a scar on the side of my nose from having skin cancer removed a few years ago. And then you can imagine what scars I have from a lower body lift, breast lift and arm lift. Goal in life - NO MORE SURGERIES! I would like to die with this many scars and no more :)
This weekend is a my holiday party and I am planning to wear a (slightly snug ugh) sassy jumpsuit. I will have to post a pic next week. I feel like my new wardrobe is skewing very young, since I can wear cute clothes for the first time in my adult life. I think I might just not worry about it lol.
Time Since Surgery: In two weeks, it will be TWO YEARS!
B: Coffee with 2 tbsp half and half, 1.5 Trader Joe's jalapeño chicken sausage
L: 5 oz tuna with light mayo and onions, pickles
S: Humboldt fog chèvre cheese (I love this, it's high in calories but low carb); cucumber salad
D: TBD, either a turkey burger or spicy salmon or a crab cake from Whole Foods
As always, it's nice to "read" you guys on here. Make good choices y'all, and I will try to do the same!

Em you will get back on the wagon I know you will do well. That damn chinese food always makes me hungrier and blow up like a tic. As much traveling and get together's you have gone to in two years. You have done an amazing job Em.
Now for your wardrobe being too young. Who cares you are young.
Okay back to the original post. I have a scar on my foot from when I was riding a pony and it ran past a house and a car and my foot was in between the house and car. Aluminum siding. I should have had stitches but back then you just sucked it up. I have a scar on my for head that I have no idea how I got it. No one in my family seems to remember. Now where my belly button is there is what looks like a zipper from numerous lap surgeries. I don't have a belly button.
B: Coffee then eggs with ham and cheese
L:Chicken salad
D:Not sure may be going out
S:Cheese stick
Vitamins are in. Making sure I drink enough liquids.
I think the list of age restrictions on clothing options definitely are valid....as an example of an f'ed up view of women and ageism. You never hear a man say that an outfit is too young for them You should wear whatever you want, and whatever you feel comfortable, beautiful and sexy in. You are powerful, and f anyone who has a problem with it.
Height: 5'7". HW: 299, Program starting weight: 290, SW: 238, CW 138 - 12 pounds under goal!
Low carb has been going fantastic. This morning I saw the scale move which is a nice bonus. Yesterday I kept my carbs at 25g for the day! That was with the Peanut Butter Cheesecake I made too. It wasn't spectacular but it fulfilled a need :)
Scars... I have a 3 inch scar on my lower right abdomen from where I had my appendix out as a 9 y.o. two days before Christmas. Needless to say I had to spend Christmas in the hospital (this was before laproscopic surgery, boo).
