Skin (an observation)
So tonight I took a look at myself and how the skin issue is unfolding. (I'm close to 100# lost). Arms definitely are flappy, totally expected that. I'm fine with my thighs. Standing straight I feel totally fine with how my stomach looks. Leaning forward is a WHOLE other story. The surgery scars have seemingly given my stomach a face. My sister pointed out that the 'face' and lumpy/fatty deposits give it the look of a hound dog lol. She is absolutely right. Hell, I may as well name 'her'... We'll be close as close can be for some time to come.

You know how female cats get that saggy tummy after they're spayed? I looked down while doing plank pushups the other day and realized I officially match my cat. Gravity is my enemy these days.

What are you talking about? My neutered MALE cat has that!!! Tee hee. And mine matches my cat too. At least our technical-t shirts cover it up when we are doing pushups AND we actually HAVE technical tees!

Sometimes when I do Barre3 (combination of yoga and pilates) my flabby arms suffocate me.

Don't get me started...before I had a tummy tuck, I used to hear my fat flap as I would attempt to run in public or at the gym. I was always wondering if other people hear it. Now, it's my arms that flap on the side and make the same noise! And...even though I had a tummy tuck, and I workout A LOT, the skin never snaps back 100% because the elasticity has been just shot to hell and back. The plastic surgeon made that clear because he didn't want me to think he was making a miracle. So, even though it's flat when I am standing, when I bend over, the same thing happens...there is some sag going on but with a small line going down the middle from my attempted workouts. My 7-yr. old son falls asleep at night with his hand in my shirt holding my fat. Lort. Thank God for clothing!
I didn't know the same effect could happen after plastics-- thanks! I've always been of the mind set that I'm not doing plastics (specifically tummy-- I would consider it for my arms)-- this info kind of firmed up that mind set for me.

My tummy slaps around when I do any sort of higher impact exercise. It's horrible. But then again my "compression" shorts are loose too so... I will try getting new ones to control that! LOL
