Gifts for someone going to have the surgery

The best part was the next day when the surgeon came to see him, saw it on his tray table, and did a double take thinking it was something the bariatric surgery unit had started giving patients.    

Life's gonna change a lot. You'll really never know what to do until the moment. Lots if different denomination gift cards through out the transitions... covers stuff you didn't think about. Less personal but for the really personal stuff... just being there to hold her hand will be priceless. To get quick access to information, kindle for books out there on Bariatrics "What to do now" is just one that comes to mind. If you want to do hand made, a nice gift of teas, SF sample packets, and a list of things you love and appreciate to remember during the various parts of the journey.. that you both are sharing... creates a keep sake for the both of you.

I just came back from goodwill and purchased two pairs of jeans for each size from 24 to size 10.
